Starting December 30, 2025 (or June 30, 2026, for small businesses), the European Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) will enforce new rules on products linked to deforestation in the EU market. Here’s what you need to keep in mind: ✅ Products must be deforestation-free and legally produced. 📝 Companies need to conduct due diligence and submit statements to authorities. ⚠️ Fines of up to 4% of annual turnover for non-compliance. 📂 SMEs have it easier—if your supplier complies, you’re good by just keeping records.
