ACFE Bangladesh Chapter Celebrates Inaugural CFE Night with Focus on Growth and Recognition! The ACFE Bangladesh Chapter proudly hosted its first-ever CFE Night on February 27, 2025, bringing together Certified Fraud Examiners (CFEs) and anti-fraud professionals for an evening of networking, celebration, and insightful discussions. The event fostered a strong sense of camaraderie and collaboration, with attendees engaging in discussions on key topics such as: Upcoming 2025 Elections: Members discussed the Chapter's upcoming elections, emphasizing the importance of active participation in shaping the future of the organization. Promoting CFE Credentials: Strategies for promoting the value and recognition of the CFE credential within organizations were explored. Nationwide Expansion: Attendees shared ideas for expanding the reach and impact of the anti-fraud profession across Bangladesh. A highlight of the evening was the special recognition and celebration of newly certified CFEs of 2025, Barsha Mondal, CFE, ITP, CAcc & Shariful ISLAM, CFE were presented with flowers in acknowledgment of their achievements. Chapter officials also shared insights into past initiatives and the dedicated efforts of the Chapter's team. The ACFE Bangladesh Chapter successfully organized its first online webinar titled "𝘾𝙁𝙀 𝙀𝙭𝙖𝙢 𝙊𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙞𝙚𝙬 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘾𝙚𝙧𝙩𝙞𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣" on 11 December 2024. The session was attended by approximately 30 participants from diverse professional backgrounds, including ACFE, CA, ACCA, CIA, CISA, and other accounting, banking, corporate, and financial sectors. The session was interactive and participatory, with attendees expressing their positive impressions and a strong motivation to pursue the CFE certification. The summit focused on updating our strategies for 2025 and beyond, as well as exploring ways chapters can drive greater value for members, affiliates, and the global community of fraud fighters.
