In two days we filmed both Interior and Exterior via Arri Alexa XT 4:3 cameras with a complement of equipment and lenses from Panavision including Anamorphic zoom and prime lenses, with Spherical zooms and primes for comparison.

The course took us through the history and application of anamorphic filming and how the transition from film to full frame 4:3 digital cameras allowed a rebirth of anamorphic into contemporary film making.

Demonstrations explored perspective variation, lens length decisions, how contrast, texture and lighting influence the shot, plus spherical and anamorphic focus and distortion was examined and explained, whilst we shot scenarios ourself, then reviewed the material at the Soundfirm grading suite.

Personally I went on to run an anamorphic shoot for Atlassian and Design Industries with a full crew, two Arri Alexa cameras and a Weisscam for high-speed filming, receiving praise from the highest levels of the clients global offices. Show less

Attended the Business Mandarin 8 week course at KPMG late 2015 and the January 2016 intensive (5 days a week x 4 weeks) for Mandarin Level 1.

Completed the Landmark Forum, the Landmark Seminar Series and the Landmark Advanced Program.

A truly amazing toolkit that I wish everyone in the world would immediately register in, then complete. I honestly feel this would be the best thing for any couple, any individual, any staff member of a company, any young person or any business owner to attend.

The workshop involved an opportunity to set up and light a scene within a 3 walled set on stage at the Docklands studios. Andrew proposed an idea for a scene and selected small groups to interpret a scenario and decide how to go about choreographing and lighting the scene, then work out coverage supported by a professional crew.
