I highly recommend this course with Daniel Prager . Developers are problem solvers and problems are most efficiently solved by talking it through and looking at it from multiple angles AS you make progress towards a solution. I've already sent a few developers along on this course (junior and very senior Tech Leads). They thoroughly enjoyed it and came back with glowing reports and new skills they could put into practice immediately. These are essential skills that ALL developers need to polish to truely hone the craft.

There is much to reflect on after this year’s retreat…let’s start with the book club chat featuring the amazing Bob Galen 🇺🇦 live from North Carolina! Bob challenged us as agents of agility to think about the coaching stances with which we can show up for those we serve - mentoring, teaching, professional, advising, etc. through leaning in and leaning out appropriately, and establishing awareness of our own self and biases before we can establish empathy for others. “Agile is shifting…and I don’t think it will ever shift back”; Bob acknowledged the challenges of working in a profession where no one understands how you provide value, how to measure it or what to expect or how to recognise excellence allowing mediocre and incompetent to taint agility potential. This puts an additional onus on us as individuals to manage our own paths to mastery and competence through tools like the Agile Coaching Growth wheel (this and other great tools can be found in his book - Extraordinarily BadAss Agile Coaching) and Pair Coaching (looking forward to being mentored by you Francesco Vassallo ✌️) Finally - Bob reminded us to “get on the field”…it’s no longer enough to be just a coach and tell/talk…agile is a disruptor by nature and it has the ability to “blow the socks off a client” so go do, show value, engage actively and partner genuinely. The Australian banks strong push for going cashless has been met with a backlash and a push from cash advocates. While there are pros and cons to each argument, going cashless is a slowly rising trend, with several countries pushing. There are two major groups (and others of course) that may find themselves left out: the elderly generation and the under-banked. There aren't many options out there for the under-banked in Australia, but this could create a market for this segment. Another considerable sized group, is merchants. Some still heavily rely on cash as the main method to accept payments, mainly to transaction processing fees of card payments. These fees take a bite out of their profit, which some may select to pass on to the consumers, making them less competitive. The push for cashless started with Macquarie Bank, later followed by Bank West.
