Here's how you can effectively evaluate the success of your market research projects.
When I was a kid I remember seeing an ad. It showed a picture of a woman with her fingers crossed behind her back. The caption was “When it comes to your pregnancy test, you only want one result. An accurate one.” Not only is that true for pregnancy, it is true for market research. Market research is littered with research that is doable, but notoriously inaccurate. Focus groups, interviews, surveys. Turns out what people say they want, and what they will pay for is worlds apart. So go get some real buying data from the wild. Use an AI platform like Heatseeker to place low cost ads for you on social media that waitlists buyers and tells you what the most popular ad was and which segment responded. Real buying signals from the real world.

How fast can you put some version of this idea in front of a user / customer? Did it light them up? Were they confused? Don’t lead the witness! Find ways to put your thinking in front of a user long before you build anything. Use the voice of the customer as a way to get your remote team to agree. There’s great AI tools that can help you mock up your ideas as an image, a short video, even an as you can place on social media to test the response.

How can you effectively differentiate your product to align with your business goals?
Test live on social media! Before you've even cut any code, you can create a validation experiment on LinkedIn or Meta. Post each feature as an idea, or even different versions of a value proposition, and see what users click on which version of the ad. This can also give you great insight into which users are likely to respond to your product. There's great AI tools out now that can help with with like Heatseeker.ai or Perplexity.ai

Harvard Business Review - Cross-Industry Innovation That Actually Works
Harvard Business Review

Standing shoulder to shoulder around oil barrels converted into temporary tables were innovation mavericks and senior executives at large established companies—Airbus, DHL, Caterpillar, and Cisco.
The gathering, hosted by Cisco, the California-based networking and technology company, was a crucial point in a process carefully designed to tackle the most pressing challenges at the intersection of supply chain and digitization. The goal: launch partnerships for groundbreaking solutions to shared problems within the next six months.

Fast Company: The Most Creative People In Business 2016
Fast Company
For enabling huge companies to figure out the future, faster - Fast Company loves successful people, but success is not enough. Neither, alas, is talent, guts, or ingenuity–other qualities we celebrate. What wins someone a spot on our annual 100 Most Creative People in Business list is almost comically difficult to achieve: A person must have done something within the past year (or so) that has moved the needle in his or her industry in some substantial way. What wins someone a spot on our annual 100 Most Creative People in Business list is almost comically difficult to achieve: A person must have done something within the past year (or so) that has moved the needle in his or her industry in some substantial way. Oh, and they can never have been profiled in our magazine before. Still, each year we discover an exciting new group of innovators who are already having a real impact on business at large.

We are hearing from our customers on a daily basis their need to digitize and innovate is growing as they work to remain relevant in their industry.
This distinctive capability is a combination of multiple customers coming together to co-innovate and tackle some of their industries biggest challenges. In a 48 hour period teams ideate and develop solutions which are rapidly prototyped and then tested with end-users live in the room. CHILL compresses the innovation process and by doing so can make significant leaps.
It’s this process that captured the gold and was recognised as being disruptive and innovative in its own right!
By changing the conversation with our customers Cisco and CHILL are reimagining the traditional innovation paradigm. We are demonstrating firsthand the ability to be able to move quickly and pivot as a large organisation.
