The jury's still out on whether the Federal Budget's measures will be enough to significantly support Australian manufacturing SMEs. While there are some positive aspects, let's see! Automating tax reporting and aligning payments could free up valuable time and resources, time is money after all - and the extended instant asset write-off allows for immediate deductions on equipment purchases, potentially boosting investment. Cash flow for SMEs is crucial so initiatives like energy bill rebates and potentially better-aligned tax payments could improve cash flow management. Questions remain though - is this enough support?
