The most satisfying part of my 25 year career has been leading teams and watching people grow and progress. From my first casual teenage job in retail to my most recent role as AMP's CEO, I’ve been aware of just how important good leadership is for getting the best from people.

I’ve been proud to lead some very diverse teams across the financial services industry in Australia, Europe and Asia and am always inspired by how much engaged teams can achieve together.

Strategy, business planning, operating model design, innovative solutions and cultural change are also areas I have built strong expertise in. I enjoy bringing these skills together to build business value and achieve great outcomes for customers.

I genuinely believe access to good financial services is essential for people’s financial wellbeing but recognise the industry hasn’t always acted in a way that people expect. I am passionate about doing what I can to regain the community’s trust in the industry.

    During my time at ING CR/SR I led the development of a five year strategy for the company, we regained the top three market position through the launch of new products for new channels, increased our market share, and reduced our operating expenses.
