Last Friday, in celebration of International Women's Day, The Hatchery were honoured to have Peta Link as our guest speaker. Peta is an exceptional artist whose work plays a vital role in shaping the visual identity of our First Nations events. Peta’s artwork is not just art, it is a powerful representation of culture, strength, and heritage, reflecting the heart of the First Nations community. During her talk, Peta shared her personal reflections on what IWD means to her, as well as her exciting journey ahead, an invitation to speak at the United Nations! Her achievements are a testament to the extraordinary influence of women, particularly Indigenous women, in shaping global conversations and promoting cultural understanding. We are incredibly proud to have Peta as part of our journey and grateful for the inspiration she provides to all of us.
