We are proud to be part of this initiative & partnership with Boots For All- The sporting equipment collection campaign aims to collect and repurpose preloved and new sporting goods to participants from disadvantaged backgrounds, providing increased access and inclusion to sport activities. Over the past few weeks, with the support of Melbourne Storm, Geelong Grammar School, and our dedicated Quayclean Victorian teams, we’ve collected over 50 pairs of shoes to donate to the Sports for All charity . . . plus a couple very special items from the Melbourne Storm crew! A huge thank you to Shelley Airey and Mohammed Mujeebuddin for their leadership in driving this effort, and to Joanne Rockwell from Boots For All for your ongoing work in promoting social inclusion and accessibility.

Quayclean AO25 Aces- Part 6/6 Meet Jake, our Trash Talker, and no it's not what you think. Jake is all about waste education at the Australian Open. In partnership with Tennis Australia, Melbourne Park and Victoria's Container Deposit Scheme he helps patrons navigate the correct recycling streams, making sure all waste is sorted properly.

Quayclean AO25 Aces - Part 5/6 Have you met Minu Perera ? She’s a pocket rocket and our PM Waste Manager. Minu leads our back-of-house operations, overseeing waste management and keeping her team on track to hit our waste and recycling targets. When the action shifts from tennis to concert mode, Leiddy ensured everything was set for an epic transformation. With just 15 minutes to change the arenas from day to evening sessions, Jario guides his team to the second; handling everything from waste picking to mopping to vacuuming to glass cleaning. Kateryn leads the Morning Team at the Australian Open conducting a thorough walkthrough of the venue each morning to ensure all overnight tasks are completed and the venue is ready before the gates open.
