We're participating in this years Green Game Jam organised by Playing for the Planet. This year we've teamed up with Take 3 for the Sea to support their efforts to reduce plastic pollution in our oceans. We're sharing their messages with players and studios in-game and IRL in our Ocean World update. We need nature and we're proud to share Take 3's important messages about how we can reduce our impact by 1. Taking 3 pieces of rubbish with you when you leave the beach, waterway or anywhere! 2. Take 3 actions to reduce your plastic footprint 3. Take 3 people on the journey with you In addition to sharing their message with our players in our Crossy Clean Up event, we're inviting studios to join us in cleaning up the ocean or waterways near where your studio is located. If you'd like to participate please reach out to us and we'll loop you in on our upcoming beach IRL clean-up plans! Players can update Crossy Road on World Environment Day (June 5th) to make waves in-game and IRL! Explore a totally reef-freshed Ocean world in Crossy Road, and unlock two new characters in the underwater Crossy Clean-Up Collectathon whilst picking up trash from the ocean floor. 10 years crossing ever more imaginative worlds with quirky, derpy, bouncy, downright silly characters to put a smile on your face.

I really enjoyed the opportunity last week to produce content for Federation Square here in Melbourne. Fed Square ran it's "Big Games Night Out," which included a ton of gaming installations in the heart of Melbourne. There were live eSports, tournaments, arcade and pinball machines, console gaming and a life sized Crossy Road exhibit on the big screen to celebrate 10 years of Crossy Road (a game developed by Melbourne based Hipster Whale) You could literally walk through Federation Square and do all of this stuff for free. Getting to produce content around one of my favourite hobbies - video games - was incredible and I genuinely thought this was one of the best events I've ever been to in Melbourne. #Content #Gaming #Melbourne
