  • It was wonderful to be part of Mandalay Venture Partners Partner Forum last week in Brisbane. Working with Land Of Plenty Food Group, we had the opportunity to showcase the future of protein with both our plant-based and pioneering B Strong blended meats - helping foodservice partners deliver more nutrition, more servings, and more value. From Lemongrass Dumplings with our chicken-style mince, Empanadas with our beef-style mince to Shawarma featuring B Strong slow-cooked diced chicken, it was exciting to see industry leaders experience these innovations firsthand. This event brought together an incredible group of agrifood innovators, all driving the future of sustainable food systems: 🌱 FUL Foods – unlocking the potential of spirulina with their breakthrough BLU Water 🥛Haelen Technology – pioneering a patented milk processing technology 🌾 Cropify – using AI/ML to revolutionise the grains supply chain 🐄 Nbryo – advancing bovine embryo technology for scalable, high-quality production 🌿 Gaia Project Australia Pty Ltd – redefining greenhouse efficiency with their Omni-System 🔬 Agscent – developing NASA-backed livestock diagnostics 🍽️ Restoke.ai – optimising restaurant back-of-house operations with AI A huge thank you to Mandalay Venture Partners for bringing together such a dynamic network of investors, entrepreneurs, and food tech pioneers. Events like these shape the future of food, and we’re excited to be part of the journey.

  • As we wrap up the year, we want to take a moment to say a heartfelt farewell and thank you to Susan Schutte from the Netherlands, who has just completed her five-month R&D internship with us at Harvest B. Susan’s journey to join us has been nothing short of inspiring - overcoming every challenge thrown her way (visa, insurance, and even travel logistics!) to spend these past months immersed in the world of food innovation here in Sydney. A student at HAS green academy, Susan is studying Food Innovation, a unique and applied course combining market trends, culinary skills, product development, nutrition, and more. During her internship, Susan worked closely with our R&D team, putting her skills to practice across product development, culinary experimentation, and even market analysis. Her enthusiasm, determination, and creativity have been invaluable, and she’s left a mark on our projects and our team. Susan approached her time at Harvest B with the same passion that first caught our eye in her initial email - viewing food as an “ongoing journey of discovery where creativity can be expressed.” This mindset has been evident in everything she’s done here, from experimenting with flavours and ingredients to helping us bring innovative ideas to life in ways that align with our mission for sustainability and nutrition. As Susan heads back to the Netherlands to complete her studies, we want to wish her all the best for the incredible career in food innovation that we know lies ahead. Thank you, Susan, for your energy, ideas, and dedication. You’ve truly been a part of the Harvest B family, and we hope this is just the beginning of a long and meaningful connection.
