Helping farmers improve forecasting & reduce costs using AI.
About us
Bitwise Agronomy's GreenView system helps growers dramatically improve their yield predictions and reduce operating costs. We do this using AI that can see like an agronomist - but with superhuman speed, scale and accuracy. GreenView helps growers forecast from 1 day to 12 weeks in advance. All you need to do is upload video footage of your farm - GreenView instantly counts the fruit, predicts forecasts to over 90% accuracy, and spots any areas of variability. ✔️ Consistent, accurate forecasting = a higher market price ✔️ Knowing yield and ripeness = more marketable fruit ✔️ Advanced forecasting = saving $ on labour and logistics

🤔 This raises an important question: Are consumers unaware of what "real" fruit and veg looks like, or have we become too picky in our expectations? 🍓 Join the conversation on how these standards impact both growers and consumers alike. Let's challenge the notion of perfection in our food and embrace the beautiful diversity of nature! #Horticulture #BeautyStandards #ConsumerAwareness #FoodDiversity
Let's talk about beauty standards in horticulture, specifically with strawberries 🍓 Recently, I splurged on the viral £40 Japanese strawberries from Harrods—delicious but, surprisingly, they didn’t pass the quality inspection on the Bitwise Ag quality app due to their misshapen forms and minor bruising. If they’re deemed good enough for Harrods, why not for Australian supermarkets? What are your thoughts on beauty vs. taste in fruits? #Horticulture #FoodQuality #BeautyStandards

Fiona Turner visiting #berry #farms in Scotland 🏴 and one of the questions we always get asked - 'How do ripening curves work in different environments?' The answer lies in understanding that every site is different, every variety is different, and every micro-climate is different - and we tailor make our #RipeningCurves for your specific farm.
