We’re thrilled to see the Rockhampton region reached record-breaking visitation for the year ending June 2024, with Beef2024 being a major factor contributing to its success. Domestic (+21.6%) and International (+33.4%) visitors grew exponentially, with visitor expenditure also increasing by 19.9%. This is a great result for the region, coming off-the-back of Beef Australia's economic impact announcement where Beef2024 contributed to over 110,000 visitor nights in the Greater Rockhampton Region alone, and created a direct and incremental expenditure impact for the Greater Rockhampton Region of $102.0 million.
