225-237/365 I think I have caught up??

I am sure that by now anyone that still stops by to catch up on my photos probably doesn't want to, or needs to hear my usual reason for not posting regularly.  My habit of being on the computer each evening has changed and I tend to try and wind down by reading.  I do really like how Foxs Lane posts regularly each week so I am going to give that a go.  I feel like that is probably a better fit for where I am with my routine of life at the moment.  So here is a snapshot of the last couple of weeks around here.  Chat with you again soon in a week, fingers crossed.  May you have a wonderful week. 

 

184-189/365 Holiday Life

We haven't been up to much this school holidays but when you have a busy term I think  holidays with not much to do are just what you need.  We have had a visit to the river with friends for morning tea; a trip to the gardens for lunch; I have had lots of cups of tea on these cold days; the chooks checking me out to see what I was up to; another selection of books and bit of crafting a teen boy card. Have you been having a nice school holidays?

129/365 Eggs, eggs, eggs

Mmm I think my youngest may have forgotten to go and collect the eggs for a few days. We now have quite a few eggs to use up, I think there may be a pavlova being made this weekend.

48/365 Chook, chook, chook

We have four hens who give us lots of eggs each day that we enjoy in our meals.  They don't get let out as often as they should mostly because of the mess they make of the gardens.  Today my hubby let them out for the morning for a bit of a scratch around which they all enjoyed.
