⚡ Did you know that 90% of milk in East Africa is sold through informal markets, often without proper pasteurization? This poses serious health risks—but Safi is tackling that. An alumni startup from validate GLOBAL, Safi is working with the Minister of Agriculture in Rwanda and with farmers in Kenya to help milk producers ensure their milk is safe. Safi is founded by Miraal Kabir, Daria Margarit, and Martin Turuta. 𝐒𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐞 2021, 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲'𝐯𝐞 𝐚𝐥𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐲: ✅ Distributed 25 devices ✅ Worked with 550 farmers ✅ Delivered 7,500 liters of safe milk to 1,700 families And they’re just getting started!
