After graduating from Vienna Business School, her career took a turn thanks to an interest test that led her to study mechatronics. Marion then finished two Master's degrees in embedded systems and IT Security, which sparked her passion for Cyber Defense. The events organised by our WoMen in IT network bring our colleagues together and create an inspiring environment that enables growth and connection.

🌟 Risk Management Module Recap 🌟 The third module of our trainee program on the topic "Risk management" took place in Vienna. Experts shared insights on Erste Bank Serbia's risk management practices. They covered regulations, ICAAP, capital requirements, and credit risks. A highlight were the fun teambuilding activities, like a chocolate workshop. Our experts, Moran Gibaly, MA, Credit Risk Portfolio, and Dominik Stepan, Credit Underwriting Corporates, also shared how AI is supporting these processes. An interactive Q&A-session sparked lively discussions. Interested colleagues who could not attend in person, had the opportunity to join the session online.

The cooperation kicked off with inspiring words by Doris Schmidauer, insights from Microsoft Hermann Erlach and Ingrid Heschl and an insightful keynote by Doris Lippert about AI. At the panel discussion, Alexandra Eichberger, Erste Digital's Head of People & Culture, emphasised the importance of creating equal opportunities for women in IT fields and to always #believeinyourself. Mentees and mentors at Erste connect successfully! 🤝 Last year, we launched MentOS, our group-wide internal mentoring platform, connecting colleagues across departments, organisations, and countries. To strengthen the MentOS community, we hosted a networking event where eszter udvarhelyi, Head of Group Corporate Steering & Business Development, delivered an inspiring keynote on the power of mentoring. She emphasised that while mentors can open doors, mentees must step through them on their own. Following the keynote, colleagues had the opportunity during a guided networking to meet various mentors, laying the groundwork for future mentorships. 🌟 One bank.
