Professional Investment: SZE Acquires Stake in Former Students' E-Mobility Start-up

Széchenyi István University has a strategic goal to contribute to the development of a knowledge-based economy, one of the means of which is supporting innovative start-up companies. To this end, the University’s technology transfer company, Uni Inno Plc., has invested in EV.analytica Ltd., a start-up aiming to simplify and enhance the convenience of electric vehicle charging for motorists. The company is focused on conquering Western European and US markets and is continuously building partnerships and seeking business opportunities.

International Moot Court Competition: Students Become the Third Best in Europe in Space Law

Students of the Deák Ferenc Faculty of Law and Political Sciences at Széchenyi István University have achieved an outstanding international success, finishing third in the European round of the prestigious Manfred Lachs Space Law Moot Court Competition. The team also received a special award for submitting a flawless written memorial during the competition held at the headquarters of the European Space Agency in Paris.

The Research Group for Religion and Science at Széchenyi István University, in collaboration with the Saint Maurus Benedictine Priory and the Szaniszló Jáki Society, recently organized an international conference entitled "The Redeemer of Science". The event, which focused on the relationship between faith and science, also addressed the challenges of the modern era, including Christian perspectives on artificial intelligence, while commemorating the Győr-born namesake of the society.
