On April 9th, 2025, the Bratislava University of Economics and Management had the honor of welcoming His Excellency Dr. Thomas Kurz, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Slovakia, for a special guest lecture titled “Challenges and Opportunities of the Bilateral Relations between Germany and Slovakia.” The event brought together students from various study programs and academic years, including number of international students, all eager to hear insights from a leading diplomat with first-hand experience in European affairs.

On March 26, 2025, PaedDr. Lucia Lednárová Dítětová, MBA, Manager of the Labor Market and Human Resources Department, gave a lecture at The Bratislava University of Economics and Management. The topic of her lecture was "Innovative and Technological Changes Affecting the Labor Market." Dr. Lednárová Dítětová began by explaining the key skills that the labor market will require from employees after 2025.

On March 19, 2025, the management of The Bratislava University of Economics and Management welcomed Professor Ing. Juraj Sipko, PhD., MBA from the Institute of Economics at the Slovak Academy of Sciences. Professor Sipko is also a member of the European Economic and Social Committee in Brussels, where he serves as President of the Trade Committee and the Committee on Economic and Fiscal Governance.

On Monday, 10th March, Bratislava University of Economics and Management was proud to host Ryan Davis, Creator and Director of Southwestern Lead, for an inspiring lecture on „Skills for Young Professionals." The university recognized the value of inviting Davis to share his insights, providing students and staff with an opportunity to gain valuable knowledge about professional growth and skill development.

On Wednesday February 27th, H.E. Johannes Wimmer the ambassador of Austria visited our university. Ambassador was welcomed by the rector and members of the management, who presented him our university and discussed cooperation with partners from Austria. Subsequently, His Excellency gave a lecture to the students on the topic "EU integration as a success story for Austria, Slovakia and their bilateral relations". During the lecture, he described the historical connections, challenges and benefits experienced by both countries on the way to EU membership and emphasized the importance of cooperation in the fields of economy, education and culture.
