Consultation provides the opportunity to work with an expert to address questions and/or concerns. In a consulting session, we work together to access resources and support professional development in any of the following areas:
Navigating conflicts and challenging conversations
Mediation provides the opportunity to engage with a trained facilitator to informally resolve disputes between parties. In mediation, all parties must agree to willingly participate, and participation does not guarantee agreement. Additional time provides opportunity for individuals and groups to engage in activities that explore concepts more fully, including the following:
Coaching provides the opportunity to work collaboratively with a thought partner to advance personal and professional goals. Coaching often involves a longer commitment than consulting (e.g., 3-6, 60-minutes sessions) on a topic of your choosing, such as:
Navigating conflicts and challenging conversations
Identifying values and goals that guide your academic and professional commitments
Troubleshooting areas of work where you feel stuck
Imagining future career steps and leadership possibilities
