Correspondence (original and photocopies, 1970-1974), journal excerpts (1972), newspaper clippings (1970-1995), news releases (1970-1974), letters from school children (1977-1981), and printed material relating to David Kunst and his brothers, John and Peter (Waseca, Minn.), on their walk around the world (June 20, 1970-October 5, 1974) to promote UNICEF. Also includes a map showing their journey, letters from U.S. and foreign officials, a few photographs, and sound recordings of radio interviews (1972 and 1992) and talks given by Kunst (undated and 1994).

The printed material includes "First Worldwalk, 1970-1974" (Souvenir edition, 1974), "Twelve Million Steps after Murder in Afghanistan" by Dave and Pete Kunst (1980), and magazine articles (in Turkish?) and in Time.
