‘Suicide Squad’ Premiere: Watch the Red Carpet Live Stream

The bad guys of Suicide Squad are hitting New York for the world premiere. Even if you aren’t in the Big Apple, you can get a glimpse of DC royalty, with Twitter teaming up with Warner Bros. and BuzzFeed to live-stream the red carpet. Check out the stream by clicking them image below.

Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn) stopped by the live stream, where she acknowledged that she understood fans who might be protective of her character and concerned about her being properly adapted to the big screen. Asked to describe a perfect, romantic evening between Harley and The Joker (Jared Leto), she said, “It probably wouldn’t be G-rated enough to say on television.” 

During the live stream, Will Smith (Deadshot) also dropped a few f-bombs and spoke about things getting physical on set. Asked who the best fighter was, he called out Jai Courtney (Boomerang).

“Jai Courtney wasn’t the best fighter, but he enjoyed getting hit in the face,” he said with a laugh.

Viola Davis’s Amanda Waller is the brains behind the Suicide Squad, putting the team together and keeping them in line. She cheekily told the live-stream audience that anyone could join the team … as long as they remembered who was in charge (her). Asked which DC character she would want to fight if she had super powers, she answered in a heartbeat: The Joker.

“Wouldn’t that be awesome to see me and him in a ring together?” she asked.

Geek icon and Batman superfan Kevin Smith told the live-stream audience that he was hoping for liberal dashes of the caped crusader (Ben Affleck) in the film — while his daughter Harley Quinn Smith, cried when she saw Robbie, who is playing her namesake.

Though Leto didn’t appear on the live stream, the actor-musician — and his outfit — made quite the stir on the carpet.

The Warner Bros. film stars also stars Joel Kinnaman, Cara Delevingne, Jay Hernandez, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Ike Barinholtz and Scott Eastwood.

Suicide Quad hits theaters Friday.
