The recent advertisement campaign for Poltergeist that featured a terrifying clown has prompted 74 complaints.
The promo, which featured on buses and billboards, was labelled distressing and unsuitable for outdoor display by some.

However, the Advertising Standards Agency has since declared the advert "not irresponsibly targeted in outdoor media".
Despite the image being pretty creepy, the ASA also ruled that the ad was "not menacing... [and] included no other images likely to contribute to such an impression".
Gil Kenan's Poltergeist remake of the 1982 classic brought the concept of supernatural evil in a suburban home to a new generation when it was released back in May.
