Lewis McGugan came off the bench to earn Forest a point
Substitute Lewis McGugan rescued a point for relegation-haunted Nottingham Forest to dent Swansea's promotion bid.
Swansea led when Jordi Gomez lifted a sublime pass over two Forest players and Guillem Bauza chipped it over advancing Forest keeper Paul Smith.
The ball still needed a last touch, though, and Jason Scotland prodded it home for his 20th goal of the season.
But Forest hit back in the 76th minute when Joel Lynch made space to arc in a deep cross that McGugan headed home.
Nottingham Forest manager Billy Davies said:
"It will interesting to see that shots on goal count because I certainly felt we deserved at least a point against a first-class team.
"But our discipline and effort was first class and they had just one shot on goal whereas the amount of chances we created we certainly could have taken all three points.
"We've picked up a very decent seven points from a tough week after playing Preston, Reading and now against Swansea.
"We switched off for one moment and they punished us but that was due to lack of legs as Moussi got caught on the wrong side but he has just come back in and is still regaining his match fitness and got stronger as the game went on.
"I am proud of the players, the performance was excellent and at least a point that was thoroughly deserved."
Swansea City manager Roberto Martinez said:
"We scored the first goal and that is always the hardest bit and we controlled the game for long spells so to concede the goal, it feels like two points dropped rather than a point gained.
"We created enough chances and I'm pleased with the attitude of our players as we still went forward even after going level.
"Jason's goal was thanks to a lovely passage of play between Bauza, Jordi Gomez and Jason - it was a great piece of football.
"Gomez's pass, you don't see many like that at the Championship level and even I am sure the Nottingham Forest fans enjoyed it even though it was against them.
"That's why it is disappointing because the goal was worthy of the three points but the goal we conceded was soft, it was a great cross but we need to be better than that in those situations."
