Former WBO heavyweight champion Herbie Hide is working with respected coach Floyd Mayweather Snr in a bid to revive his ailing boxing career.
The 33-year-old from Norwich will fight as a cruiserweight and is targeting a return to the ring in September.
"With Floyd in my corner I am going to wreak havoc at cruiserweight," said the Nigerian-born boxer.
"As a heavyweight I knocked out 34 of my 35 victims, can you imagine what I am going to be able to do now?"
Mayweather, the father of WBC light welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jnr, is confident Hide can become a champion again.
"Herbie was knocking out heavy weights when he was a cruiserweight," said Mayweather Snr.
"Now he is fighting at the weight he should have been from the beginning, I dread to think what he will do."
