Jones didn't play any snaps in the Vikings' 27-9 loss to the Rams on Jan. 13 in the wild-card round Minnesota signed him off its practice squad.

After completing 216 of 341 passes (63.3 percent) for 2,070 yards, eight touchdowns, and seven interceptions through 10 games for the Giants, Jones was released by the team and subsequently signed with the Vikings' practice squad. Though he was added to the roster for the playoffs, he was inactive for the wild-card round as the team's emergency No. 3 quarterback behind Sam Darnold and Nick Mullens. Jones is set to become a free agent this offseason, and while a return to Minnesota may be unlikely, the Vikings could receive a compensatory draft pick if he ends up signing elsewhere.

Mullens completed two of two pass attempts for 38 yards and zero touchdowns across four games during the 2024 regular season.

The veteran backup quarterback played a total of seven offensive snaps across the four contests, and he rushed three times for negative two yards on top of the limited pass attempts. Mullens turns 30 years old in March and is scheduled to be a free agent this offseason. The Vikings' quarterback picture is unclear, with both Sam Darnold and Daniel Jones also slated to be free agents. J.J. McCarthy (knee) is coming off a serious injury and missed his entire 2024 rookie campaign.

The Bills signed Buechele (neck) to a reserve/future contract Wednesday, Alec White of the team's official site reports.

Buechele spent the entire 2024 season on injured reserve due to a neck injury that he suffered during the preseason in mid-August. By signing a futures deal, Buechele will be eligible to participate in OTAs, minicamp and training camp in the hopes of making the Bills' 53-man roster for the 2025 campaign.

Willis recorded 550 passing yards, three passing touchdowns, 138 rushing yards and one rushing touchdown over seven appearances in 2024.

The Packers acquired Willis from the Titans less than two weeks before the regular season began, and that proved to be a pivotal move, as he led the Packers to victory in both Weeks 2 and 3 while filling in for an injured Jordan Love. The sample size was small, but Willis posted a sterling 124.8 quarterback rating in 2024, which put him back on the map after a nondescript start to his career. Willis has one year remaining on his rookie contract, so barring a trade to a team that may be interested in him as a starter, he will be back in Green Bay for another go-around.

The Commanders signed Hartman to a reserve/future contract Tuesday.

Hartman signed with the Commanders in late April as an undrafted free agent following six years in college (five with Wake Forest, one with Notre Dame). He spent most of the year on Washington's practice squad after failing to make the 53-man roster at the end of training camp, but he had a brief stint on the Commanders' active roster due to Marcus Mariota landing on injured reserve in early September with a chest injury. Hartman would have a better chance at making Washington's 53-man roster for the 2025 campaign if Mariota opts to sign elsewhere in free agency.

Mariota completed 34 of 44 passes for 364 yards and four touchdowns during the 2024 regular season, then took two rush attempts for one yard in two playoff games.

Mariota never made a start but got the majority of playing time in two regular-season games and led the Commanders to victory both times. He then got two snaps in short-yardage situations during the playoffs, converting one and getting stuffed on the other. The 31-year-old isn't under contract for 2025, but it won't come as any surprise if he re-signs with the Commanders to back up Jayden Daniels again.

Gainwell (concussion/knee) was listed as a DNP on Thursday's injury report.

Gainwell entered concussion protocol during the Eagles' NFC Championship Game victory over the Commanders this past Sunday. With another week of practice ahead of the Eagles before Super Bowl LIX against the Chiefs on Sunday, Feb. 9, Gainwell has additional time to clear the league's five-step concussion protocols. The 2021 fifth-round pick logged seven carries for 32 yards and caught all three of his targets for 26 yards across three playoff games.

Williams did not record a carry or target across 17 regular-season games in 2024, but he did finish with 408 kick return yards and 185 punt return yards.

After sitting out the entire 2023 campaign due to a torn ACL in his knee, Williams was able to earn a spot on the Falcons' 53-man roster for the 2024 campaign. With the Falcons' backfield dominated by Bijan Robinson and Tyler Allgeier, Williams was exclusively used on special teams as a returner on both kickoffs and punts, but he managed to record six tackles (two solo) while on coverage duties. Williams will enter the offseason as an unrestricted free agent and should get plenty of interest from teams looking to add a return specialist who could also contribute out of the backfield.

Gainwell (concussion/knee) was listed as a non-participant in Wednesday's estimated practice.

Gainwell was ruled out of Philadelphia's win over Washington in the NFC Championship Game this past Sunday due to a concussion, and he's also currently dealing with a knee injury. The depth running back and return man will work to return to full health in time to contribute in the Eagles' Super Bowl LIX matchup with the Chiefs on Feb. 9. For the time being, rookie Will Shipley will be in position to handle increased practice reps behind lead back Saquon Barkley.

McNichols finished the 2024 regular season with 55 carries for 261 yards and four touchdowns, and nine catches for 27 yards, adding five carries for nine yards and a touchdown in three playoff appearances.

McNichols got a bunch of chances to step in as Washington's No. 2 back, with Brian Robinson missing three games and Austin Ekeler five. While he mostly performed well, the enduring memory of McNichols' season for a lot of Washington fans will be be his lost fumble on a kick return during the NFC Championship Game -- a mistake that allowed the Eagles to stretch their lead from eight points to 15. The 29-year-old McNichols is scheduled for unrestricted free agency this offseason.

The Bills signed Gore to a reserve/future contract Monday.

The undrafted rookie from Southern Mississippi spent his 2024 campaign with the Bills' practice squad after failing to make the active roster in late August. Gore was elevated to the active roster for Buffalo's Week 6 win over the Jets but did not play a single snap. He's now expected to compete for a reserve role in the Bills' backfield this summer, aiming to make his regular-season NFL debut in 2025.

Johnson had five carries for 19 yards and secured his only target for a gain of zero yards during 32-29 loss to the Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game.

Johnson worked behind backfield leader James Cook, and above rookie fourth-round pick Ray Davis, during Buffalo's narrow season-ending loss to Kansas City. While suiting up for all 17 regular-season games, Johnson compiled 41 carries for 213 yards (5.1 YPC) and one touchdown, while also hauling in 18 of 25 targets for 284 yards and another three scores. He compiled 130 kick return yards, as well. Johnson is set to become an unrestricted free agent this offseason.

Ismail's (undisclosed) practice squad contract with Baltimore expired Thursday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Ismail was signed to the Ravens' practice squad in late August after failing to make the team's 53-man roster at the end of training camp. He was placed on the practice squad injured list in mid-October due to an undisclosed injury. Now that his practice squad contract has expired, Ismail will have an opportunity to sign a futures deal with the Ravens or another team once he's fully healthy.

The Chiefs designated Moore (abdomen) to return from injured reserve Thursday, Jesse Newell of The Kansas City Star reports.

Moore was placed on injured reserve Oct. 24 due to a core-muscle injury. He wasn't expected to return for the postseason, but Kansas City opted to open the 2022 second-round pick's 21-day practice window. He was spotted working out with the returners during Thursday's practice and was officially listed as a limited participant. If Moore is able to log full practices next week, he could be activated to the Chiefs' 53-man roster for Super Bowl LIX against the Eagles on Sunday, Dec. 9.

Smith (hamstring) was a non-participant at Thursday's practice, Brooks Kubena of The Athletic reports.

The Eagles estimated Smith as a DNP on their first injury report of Super Bowl prep due to a hamstring issue, but he still will have four more chances to get back on the field and prove his health ahead of the team's matchup with the Chiefs on Sunday, Feb. 9. In three playoff games so far, he's tallied exactly four catches on each occasion on his way to a 12-121-0 line on 12 targets.

Ross reverted to the Chiefs' practice squad Monday.

Ross was elevated to the Chiefs' active roster this past Saturday. He was ultimately a healthy scratch for Sunday's AFC Championship Game victory over the Bills, though his elevation may have been so that he would receive a $77,000 game check rather than a $12,500 weekly payout for being on the practice squad, per Charles Goldman of AtoZSports.com. Ross could be elevated for Super Bowl LIX against the Eagles on Feb. 9 if the Chiefs are in need of additional depth at wide receiver.

Smith was listed as a non-participant on Wednesday's estimated practice report due to a hamstring injury.

The Eagles didn't hold a practice Wednesday, but Smith is evidently managing an injury in the aftermath of the team's 55-23 win over the Commanders in this past Sunday's NFC Championship Game. In that contest, Smith played 83 percent of the Eagles' snaps on offense and finished with four catches for 45 yards on four targets. While Smith's status is worth monitoring based on his inclusion on Wednesday's report, he does have added healing time, given that Philadelphia won't face Kansas City in the Super Bowl until Feb. 9.

The Bills signed Virgil to a reserve/future contract Tuesday.

Virgil caught on with the Bills' practice squad in late August after failing to make the Broncos' 53-man roster at the end of training camp. He was signed to Buffalo's active roster Nov. 8, and after being waived Dec. 14 he was signed back to the practice squad. He ended up playing in seven regular-season games and spent most of his time on special teams, though he did not show up in the box score otherwise. The 26-year-old wide receiver out of Appalachian State will be on the Bills' 90-man roster when the new league year starts March 12, which will allow him to participate in OTAs, minicamp and training camp ahead of the 2025 campaign.

Goedert (rest/ankle) didn't practice Thursday.

For a second week in a row, Goedert has been listed as a non-participant on the first two Eagles injury reports due to an ankle issue. Last week, he was able to cap it with a full session and enter the weekend without a designation for the NFC Championship Game, when he handled an 82 percent snap share en route to seven catches (on eight targets) for 85 yards in a 55-23 win against the Commanders. With more than a week to prepare for a Super Bowl matchup with the Chiefs on Sunday, Feb. 9, Goedert has plenty of time to prove the health of his ankle in advance of that contest.

The Eagles cut Muse from the practice squad Thursday.

Muse spent the second half of the 2024 regular season on the Vikings' practice squad after being waived from the 53-man roster in late November. The 2022 seventh-round pick was added to Philadelphia's practice squad Jan. 22 to provide additional depth at tight end. Muse's removal makes room on the Eagles' practice squad for running back Lew Nichols.

The Eagles have opened up the practice window for Uzomah (abdomen) ahead of the Super Bowl.

Uzomah, who suffered an abdominal injury during Week 17 action, will thus have an opportunity to resume practicing ahead of the Eagles' Feb. 9 contest against the Chiefs. If Uzomah is activated ahead of the Super Bowl, he'd bolster the depth of a Philadelphia tight end corps that's currently led by Dallas Goedert and Grant Calcaterra. Prior to his injury, Uzomah was not targeted during the seven regular-season games that he played in.

Woerner caught seven passes (on 12 targets) for 46 yards across 16 regular-season games in 2024.

Woerner signed a three-year, $12 million contract with Atlanta in March of 2024 after spending the first four years of his NFL career with San Francisco. He firmly operated as the Falcons' No. 2 tight end for most of the 2024 campaign behind Kyle Pitts. Woerner saw his playing time on offense increase following the Week 12 bye, playing at least 30 offensive snaps over the final six games of the regular season and logging five catches (on eight targets) for 29 yards over that span. He also registered four tackles (two solo) while contributing on special teams.

The Bills signed Davidson to a reserve/future contract Wednesday, Alec White of the team's official site reports.

Davidson spent the entire 2024 campaign on the Bills' practice squad after failing to make the 53-man roster at the end of training camp. He was elevated for three regular-season games, playing both offense and special teams and logging one catch (on two targets) for five yards. Davidson will be on Buffalo's 90-man roster when the new league year starts March 12, which will allow him to participate in OTAs, minicamp and training camp.

Goedert (rest/ankle) was listed as a non-participant on Wednesday's estimated practice report.

An ankle issue affected Goedert's practice participation ahead of this past Sunday's 55-23 win over the Commanders in the NFC Championship Game, but he approached that contest without an injury designation and ending up logging 58 of 71 snaps on offense while catching seven of his eight targets for 85 yards and carrying twice for 13 yards. With no reported setbacks coming out of that contest, Goedert's listed absence Wednesday was likely a result of the Eagles managing his reps. He's not expected to face any limitations in the Eagles' Feb. 9 Super Bowl matchup with the Chiefs.

Patterson went 4-for-7 on field-goal attempts and made all 16 of his extra-point tries across five regular-season games in 2024.

Patterson lost out to Cade York for the Commanders' kicking job during training camp. It wasn't until October when Patterson managed to find work, and he ended up playing for the Jets, Falcons and Browns during the 2024 campaign due to injuries to those team's respective kickers. Patterson ended the regular season in Atlanta after Younghoe Koo (hip) was placed on IR. Patterson enters the offseason as an unrestricted free agent, but he should have no problem garnering interest from teams looking for a veteran place kicker to serve as the starter or to bring in competition.

Koo (hip) finished the 2024 regular season connecting on 25 of 34 field-goal attempts and all 26 of his extra-point tries across 14 games.

Koo connected on at least 86 percent of his field-goal attempts in the five seasons prior to 2024 and was one of the league's most accurate kickers over that span. He started out making all nine of his field-goal attempts over the first four games of the regular season, but he went just 8-for-15 on his field-goal tries over the next six contests, including 1-for-4 in Week 10 against the Saints. Part of Koo's accuracy issues may have been due to him attempting to play through a right hip injury, which ultimately placed him on IR in mid-December and led to the Falcons signing Riley Patterson off the Browns' practice squad. With a full offseason ahead of him, Koo will look to fully recover from his injury and aim to bounce back in 2025.

Bates connected on his only field-goal attempt while going 4-for-4 on PATs in Saturday's 45-31 NFC divisional-round playoff loss to the Commanders.

Bates was scarcely used again Saturday, making a 28-yard field goal late in the fourth quarter to narrow the deficit to 45-31. The kicker had a highly successful rookie campaign with the Lions and he'll likely enter next season with no competition.

Fairbairn converted two of four field-goal attempts and missed his lone extra-point try in Saturday's 23-14 divisional-round playoff loss to Kansas City.

Fairbairn missed badly on a 55-yard field-goal attempt, which appeared to have been impacted by the winds blowing through Kansas City. He also had an attempt blocked and shanked an extra-point try. During the regular season, Fairbairn connected at an 86-percent rate (36 of 42) on field goals, 94-percent (34 of 36) on extra points, and was tied for fifth among kickers with 142 points. The 30-year-old is normally a reliable kicker, and none of Saturday's miscues should impact his status in 2025, the second year of a three-year extension signed in March 2024.

Ryland netted 28 of 32 field-goal attempts and 26 of 27 point-after tries in 13 appearances during the 2024 season.

Ryland lost a job battle against Joey Slye at the end of August in New England, but he was called upon by Arizona in early October to step in for the injured Matt Prater (knee) and ended up kicking for the rest of the Cardinals' campaign. His performance was a far cry from that of his rookie season with the Patriots, when he went just 16-for-25 on FGAs (along with 24-for-25 on PATs) in 17 contests. Ryland's 8.5 points per game ranked tied for sixth among kickers to play in at least nine outings, and he's now the only kicker under contract for Arizona next season. Considering his overall success in 2024, he may not face any competition for the starting gig this offseason.

Gonzalez (hip) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice.

Gonzalez was listed as a limited participant Tuesday on Washington's first injury report of the week, but his ability to take every rep a day later clears up any concern about his status for Saturday's divisional-round game in Detroit. After connecting on five of seven field-goal attempts and 19 of 19 extra-point tries over his six appearances with Washington in the regular season, Gonzalez went a perfect 5-for-5 on kicks in this past Sunday's wild-card win over the Buccaneers. He nailed two point-after attempts and all three of his field goals, including a 37-yarder that clanged off the right upright and in for the game-winning points with no time remaining.

Davis recorded 29 tackles and 0.5 sacks across 16 games with the Rams in 2024.

Davis was a sixth-round pick in the 2024 draft and immediately earned snaps along the interior of the Rams' defensive line. He was a depth rotational option for much of the season, though his size was used more frequently in matchups against run-heavy teams such as the Eagles. Davis doesn't have much upside from a fantasy perspective, but he should stick in a similar role for the Rams in 2025.

Witherspoon recorded 31 tackles, nine passes defensed and one interception across 13 games with the Rams in 2024.

Witherspoon signed with the Rams late in the offseason and began the campaign on the practice squad. He was activated in Week 4 and saw an inconsistent role from there-- often rotating with Cobie Durant. Witherspoon allowed quarterbacks to post a 103.1 passer rating when targeted this season, though his nine passes defensed matched the second-best mark of his career. He will be a free agent this offseason and may be forced to wait until injuries occur in training camp before finding a new home or returning to the Rams.

Durant recorded 40 tackles, one sack, eight passes defensed, one interception and one forced fumble across 15 regular season games with the Rams in 2024.

Durant concluded his third season as a pro with career-high marks in defensive snaps (740), tackles and passes defensed. After working primarily in the slot in his first two seasons, Durant shifted out wide for much of 2024. A chest injury slowed him down the stretch of the campaign and skewed his numbers negatively, but Durant should have a strong chance to remain a significant part of the Rams' secondary in 2025.

McCollough recorded 43 tackles, four passes defended, four interceptions and a touchdown across 17 games with the Rams in 2024.

McCollough signed with the Rams as an undrafted free agent following the 2024 draft. He impressively made the team out of training camp and began the year primarily playing on special teams, though he proved to be a versatile playmaker on the defensive side of the ball when called upon. McCollough regularly played in the box, in the slot and at free safety, so there's a good chance he sees an expanded role somewhere in the Los Angeles defensive unit in 2025.

Brown recorded 44 tackles and one pass defended across 17 games with the Rams in 2024.

Brown played out the final year of his rookie contract and has progressively seen his role expand each year as a pro. In 2024, he stayed fully healthy for the first time while recording a career-high in snaps (455) and tackles. Brown is a traditional run-stuffing lineman who doesn't offer much as a pass rusher, but he still should be a relatively popular option for teams looking to fortify their defensive line this offseason.

Williams played in 12 regular-season games in 2024 and finished with 45 tackles (31 solo) and seven pass defenses (including one interception).

After being released by the Jaguars in March of 2024, Williams opted to sign a three-year, $22.5 million contract the Rams, who he played with from 2018 to 2021. He strained his hamstring during training camp in late July, which was severe enough for him to start the regular season on injured reserve. Williams made his 2024 regular-season debut in Week 5 against the Packers, and he played at least 50 snaps in the 11 games following the Rams' Week 6 bye. Williams will likely serve as one of the Rams' starting corners for the 2025 campaign, though who will be lined up opposite him remains to be seen.
