Profile

I'm a middle-aged teenager who loves to dance on the margins. I am a bit quirky and I talk too much. People say I look normal and innocent, and are often shocked when I make a dirty joke, express a radical opinion, or do something attention seeking. I'm not a risk taker, but I do tend to seek out new things to do and places to go. Although I love to go out and see the world, I also love my home and love to cook. I'm stubborn and determined and you will have a hard time changing my mind about things, or get me out of my routines. (If you are into astrology, I am a Cancer with Taurus rising and the moon in Sagittarius, which some might say explains all of this.)

I approach life with equal amounts of cynicism and optimism. I tend to have low expectations, but I do my best to find joy in anything. I can cut you down with stinging wit, but also be ready with hugs and encouragement. I am something of an empath and I don't like seeing people in pain. (I think psychologists might call me a Highly Sensitive Extrovert.)

I am an unapologetic liberal Social Justice Warrior (Yeah, call it an insult, but I am going to wear that label with pride). I know I can't change the world, but I won't stop trying.
