A very warm day

it’s very warm in The Netherlands right now, so quietly sitting down to dray some lines on paper is a very good thing to do ;-)

The patterns I’ve used are Log Cabin, Sistar and Flux.

Zenuari 2019 day 5: Hint of a tint

Anoeska likes us to add a ‘hint of a tint’ in our tile. Being Dutch ;-) I chose a tint of orange inside Fassett. Henna Drum and Fassett were left black and white.

Inktober #5: Fleavy

Inktober #5 is a Fleavy challenge: a new-to-me pattern. I combined it with Footlites, Flux and Fandango.

Joey’s challenge #222

This is a happy and a sad moment at the same time. Happy because this is the 222nd challenge of Joey and I’m glad to participate :-)

Sad because this is her last challenge... :-(

Another finish my tile challenge by Joey! This week we’re starting with Dicso in the middle. Around it I fitted Q-Belle and added Flux and Some black pearls.

Square One: Zoya

In Facebook’s group Square One we’re focusing on Zoya. Like Crux a couple of weeks ago, I used Zoya as a firm base for the other tangles: Zedbra, Golven, Flux and Tipple.

Diva challenge #359

Laura has a funny challenge this week: we’re to draw a string by tracing our fingers. After seeing Laura’s video I decided to not trace too many fingers, to prevent the tile from being too busy. So: only 3 fingers:

Somehow ;-) I forgot all about my good intentions when I started drawing Auraknot behind the three fingers who were already filled with Andromeda, Balo and C-Stem. Haha, a busy tile appeared! So I just added some Flux to finish it.

Joey’s challenge #210

Joey has started a new Finish my tile series. For 13 weeks she is starting with a tangle in the front and center of the tile.

We start with Mak Rah Mee. I always find it challenging to find good tangles to join this one, but I’m quite pleased with this result. 

Zenuari day 12: Overlap

Overlapping tangles is today’s theme. I used Flukes and Leeter to overlap and added some good old Flux ;-)

Zenuari day 4: Forgotten tangle

No, I did not forget about Drupe, but I don’t draw it very often anymore. Nice to rediscover it - and add some Flux.

Zenuari day 3: Weighted lines

We’re creating weighted lines to add contrast and interest. Nice prompt! The tangles I’ve used are Bales, Flux, Fassett, Chillon and Shattuck.

Joey’s challenge #194

This challenge by Joey gave me so much joy! No wonder: there’s only 1 letter between Joey and joy ;-)

In this tile I’ve used the tangle Y-ful Power as a string and I filled it with plenty different tangles. Look at the tags of this post to see which ones ;-)

Somehow this one reminds me of Autumn, thanks to  Flux, Fife, ‘Nzeppel and Knightsbridge ;-)

I decided to keep it simple and filled my squares with B'tweed and Cadent, and added some Flux.
