I study whether AI-based feedback produces genuine learning or the appearance of it. My research spans two empirical threads: the conditions under which AI feedback supports vs. erodes metacognitive calibration in graduate professional education, and the phased scaffolding of values-based decision-making under uncertainty.

I build frameworks designed to transfer across contexts where humans and AI-powered systems share epistemic territory.
