FAQs
Where should I leave my belongings/bags? Please use your room if you are staying for the weekend. If you are here for the Saturday, please use the library for your bags (or anywhere you are happy to leave them)
What time is? Head to the Day Guests or Weekend Guests tab on the top of the page for itineraries.
Where is?
Where can I get a drink? We have a bring your own booze status but we have provided some mixers and a few alcoholic drinks, too. Head to the Bar to find the fridge labelled 'BYOB' to store your own drinks or help yourself to the fridge labelled 'Help Yourself'. We also have margarita and sweet lime soda for guests to help themselves to, in the library. If you just want some water, please head to the kitchen 'mi casa es tu casa'
Where can I get a snack? We have picnic baskets outside full of picnic snacks (including free from options) throughout the day, dinner will be served at 5:30pm.
Are photos being taken? Can I take photos? We don't have a professional photographer coming for the weekend as we just want friends and family with us. Whilst Lucy's brother will be snapping some pics, and we will do a big group photo, we are not having posed shoots. So, please do take photos: - On your phones (& share with us if you can) - On the disposable cameras dotted around - On the disposable camera app on our linktree! We are more than happy for you to share your photos on social media but would love for you to wait until the end of the weekend.
Where can I take a break? If you are staying for the weekend, feel free to pop to your room any time you need a break! We also have a quiet space on the map for all guests to use (with fidget toys). You can also head to the games room if you want time playing something in a smaller group.
Can I gift to your honeymoon fund?
Help, I have forgotten sun cream, got a stain, ruined my mascara etc. In the toilets, we have boxes that have stain remover, tissues, gum, sun cream, sanitary products, deodorant and other bits to save the day!
Is there WiFi? The wifi is called The Lodge and the password is chettle123
Where do I sit? We have no seating plan for our ceremony or our dinner. There are some reserved seats (with signage) for the front rows of the ceremony, but otherwise please sit where you like!
Any other question? If you have a question not covered here and it is urgent, please just ask Lucy (or Dec). If you have a question that isn't urgent that can wait until after the wedding, or is something like 'am I allowed to eat these crisps' please just use your judgement or ask after the weekend :) We want people to feel comfortable so please use the house as you wish and make yourself at home.
