History buff and enthusiast, focused on Vikings, ancient Carthage, Mesopotamia, Egypt, Etruria and specific topics of the Roman empire. The history of Polar exploration, certain US presidential biographies and good (preferably non-fiction) books and interesting biographies in general. All information and knowledge gained by a reasonable collection of books, history courses and museum / archaeological site visits around the globe.
