In this article, I am going to show you how to enable and use restrictions on iOS <\/a>devices. Restrictions are also known by\u00a0parental controls<\/a>. for the present is very necessary that how to guide the child in a good and better way, they want to know which sites their child visit, what they do, then they may restrict their child\u2019s physically but it\u2019s I long a hard way. so in this cause they can enable restrictions on their devices, with IOS restrictions we can do many things, like restricting some sites from visiting or we can block or disable safari, restrict films, restrict facebook privacy, restrict game center from add friends and play Multiplayer games in Game Cente and much more. so we can say Use Restrictions, also known as parental controls, on your iPhone<\/a>, iPad, and iPod touch to prevent access to specific apps and features.<\/p>\n

In this day and age, when you can’t really take your kid’s phone away from them for long periods of time, I’ve effectively turned to these settings as an alternative.<\/p>\n

I’ve only had to do it once, but I set up a PIN, reset their phone wiping all the games and social media crap off of it, and then turned off all extra features – no safari, no camera, no installing apps. They can make phone calls, but no Facebook or Twitter, and they have to text friends the old fashioned way like animals.<\/p>\n

Note<\/strong>: This works on iPad, iPhone and iPod touch also.<\/p>\n

Enable Restrictions on iOS Devices<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Step\u00a0#1.<\/strong> Go to Settings>General<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Step #4.<\/strong> Then Enter a Restrictions Passcode and Re-enter your Restrictions Passcode.<\/p>\n

Remember:<\/strong> Restrictions Passcode is not the as your device passcode it\u2019s different, so don\u2019t lose or forget your\u00a0Restrictions Passcode, because in future in order to change your restrictions settings to need firstly enter your passcode to enter in restrictions dashboard and it\u2019s needed also when you want to disable restrictions.<\/p>\n

Change Restrictions Passcode<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Note:<\/strong> Changing the restrictions passcode will set to you the default restrictions settings.<\/p>\n

  1. Tap on Settings > General<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  2. Tap on Restrictions<\/strong> then enter your current restrictions passcode to getting in restrictions Dashboard.<\/li>\n
  3. Tap on Disable Restrictions<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  4. Enter your current Restrictions passcode.<\/li>\n
  5. Tap Enable Restrictions, then enter a new passcode.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/section>\n<\/section>\n

    Note:<\/strong> Disabling restrictions will set to you the default restrictions settings.<\/p>\n

    2. Tap on Restrictions<\/strong> then enter your current restrictions passcode to getting in restrictions Dashboard.<\/li>\n
    3. Tap on Disable Restrictions<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
    4. Enter your current Restrictions passcode.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      If you have forgotten your restrictions passcode, so you can\u2019t disable it and you can\u2019t Erase All Content, and in preparing to Factory Reset it\u2019s will ask you for the restrictions passcode. so in this cause, your must restore it. if you don\u2019t know how to restore it, so go to this article,\u00a0How to restore iPhone, iPad or iPod touch software?<\/a>\u00a0Restoring the device using a backup won\u2019t remove the restrictions passcode.<\/p>\n

      How to Restrict Applications and Features with Restrictions<\/strong><\/h2>\n

      Now Restrictions is enabled and you can disable an app, be sure that you can disable and deny an app that is developed by apple like safari web browser or you can disable your camera and many more features.<\/p>\n

      Step #1.<\/strong> To restrict safari<\/strong> or camera<\/strong> or others apps, simply just slide the button to the left or turn it off. now once get out of restrictions settings and check the apps that your disabled is it here or not.<\/p>\n

      Step #2.<\/strong> I have disabled camera & Safari<\/strong> from restrictions settings, Now as can see that camera & safari<\/strong> has been disappeared\u00a0from the control center and from the home screen.<\/p>\n

      Step #3.<\/strong> Like this you can restrict many apps and feature, to disable a feature simply just slide the button to left and turn it off like disabling deleting apps<\/strong>. (like the shot below)<\/p>\n

      Step #4.<\/strong> I have disabled deleting from restrictions, so you can see that I am unable to delete an app.<\/p>\n
