It is the first single from Delerium&#8217;s new album &#8220;Exaudire&#8221;, set for release on 22 January 2027.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<iframe style=\"border: 0; width: 100%; height: 120px;\" src=\"https:\/\/round-lake.dustinice.workers.dev:443\/https\/bandcamp.com\/EmbeddedPlayer\/track=2234375593\/size=large\/bgcol=ffffff\/linkcol=0687f5\/tracklist=false\/artwork=small\/transparent=true\/\" seamless=\"\"><a href=\"https:\/\/round-lake.dustinice.workers.dev:443\/https\/delerium-official.bandcamp.com\/track\/into-the-light-with-diamanda-gal-s\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Into The Light (with Diamanda Gal\u00e1s) by Delerium<\/a><\/iframe>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;Into The Light&#8221; incorporates portions of &#8220;Deliver Me From Mine Enemies&#8221;, written and performed by Diamanda Gal\u00e1s and included on her 1986 album &#8220;The Divine Punishment&#8221;, the American avant-garde singer&#8217;s Mute Records release that opened her &#8220;Masque of the Red Death&#8221; trilogy. The Delerium track sets that material inside the group&#8217;s own production, credited to founding members <a href=\"https:\/\/round-lake.dustinice.workers.dev:443\/https\/www.side-line.com\/tag\/bill-leeb\/\">Bill Leeb<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/round-lake.dustinice.workers.dev:443\/https\/www.side-line.com\/tag\/rhys-fulber\/\">Rhys Fulber<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;Exaudire&#8221; follows Delerium&#8217;s 2023 album &#8220;Signs&#8221; and carries twelve tracks, continuing the group&#8217;s format of pairing largely downtempo, atmospheric songwriting with a rotating cast of guest vocalists:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n\n<li>Higher Power (with Mimi Page)<\/li>\n\n\n<li>Into The Light (with Diamanda Gal\u00e1s)<\/li>\n\n\n<li>Dream Palace (with Magic Wands)<\/li>\n\n\n<li>Buried Light (with Mimi Page)<\/li>\n\n\n<li>Apocalypse (with Inna Walters)<\/li>\n\n\n<li>Stolen (with Phildel)<\/li>\n\n\n<li>Into The Unknown (with Ja\u00ebl)<\/li>\n\n\n<li>Multiplying Zero (with Inna Walters)<\/li>\n\n\n<li>Chasing The Wind (with Mimi Page)<\/li>\n\n\n<li>Exaudire<\/li>\n\n\n<li>Had To Go (with Ja\u00ebl)<\/li>\n\n\n<li>Litany (with Mimi Page)<\/li>\n\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">About Delerium<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Delerium was founded in Vancouver, Canada, in 1987 by Bill Leeb and Rhys Fulber, both already active as members of the electro-industrial group <a href=\"https:\/\/round-lake.dustinice.workers.dev:443\/https\/www.side-line.com\/tag\/front-line-assembly\/\">Front Line Assembly<\/a>. Where Front Line Assembly carried the pair&#8217;s aggressive, rhythm-driven material, Delerium became the outlet for their dark ambient and instrumental compositions, released through Dossier and Third Mind before the project moved to Nettwerk for its commercial breakthrough.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From the mid-1990s onward, starting around &#8220;Semantic Spaces&#8221; (1994), Delerium began inviting guest vocalists to front largely downtempo songs on each album, a format the group has kept since. That approach produced its best-known track, &#8220;Silence&#8221;, featuring Sarah McLachlan, which reached number three in the UK singles chart following a series of 2000 remixes and won two Juno Awards for Best Dance Recording.
