Opportunities Reflection For Students

Including a time for reflection in each lesson plan may mean

adding a couple of minutes at the end of a class where students
have time to think about their learning. Written reflections can
be kept private or turned in, whatever works best for you and
your class. Here are a few other ways to reflect on learning.

Opportunities Reflection For Teachers

Reflection is a powerful teaching tool. Most teachers have

uttered something like, “Well, that didn’t go as planned!” after a
disastrous lesson or exclaimed, “Wow, that was amazing!” after
a successful lesson. Reflecting on those moments goes deeper
into the why of it without any judgment (who wants that?). Why
was that lesson successful? What were the
challenges? Reflection is part of the professional growth
mindset. Here are a few ways you can reflect on your lesson.

Lesson Plan Notes

Once the lesson is complete, add or attach your reflection to it.
Think back on each activity, strategy, assignment, or quiz.
