TEACHER INSTRUCTIONS
Thank you for your work inducting students into the EE.
In today’s session please:
1. Make sure students understand that they must submit two proposals through
Lionel, in two different subject groups.
2. Watch the Limiting Factor Approach video on slide 9.
3. Give students time to work on their proposals.
4. Run through how to submit an EE proposal through Lionel using the slides.
5. Repeatedly mention the proposal deadline of 6th January at 8am. Adherence
to this deadline sets the precedent for the draft and final EE deadline.
NOTE: These Y12s are being examined under a NEW, (simpler!) EE Specification. The
key information is that World Studies is replaced by “Interdisciplinary Essays” and
subject guidance becomes group guidance.

● Topic should fit broadly into one
framework, but it could include

• You are strongly advised to choose HL subjects.
