Dear Dr. Rahman,

I am writing to express my interest in the Volunteer Assistant Position at Bright Smiles Dental
Clinic. I learned about this opportunity through a local volunteer board and was excited to apply
because of my strong interest in the dental field and my long-term goal of becoming a dentist.

As you can see from my resume, I am currently completing Grade 10 through TVO ILC and
have already earned over 180 volunteer hours working with children at the Islamic Centre of
Cambridge. In that role, I supported classroom activities, helped manage students, and developed
strong communication and responsibility skills. I also worked behind the scenes as part of the
tech crew for a school musical and tutored my younger siblings, showing initiative and
leadership at home and in my community.

These experiences have taught me how to be dependable, organized and calm under pressure. I
believe these qualities are essential in a dental office environment. I am eager to learn more
about the dental profession and contribute in any way I can.
