greater than the set time, this setting is not valid. otherwise, if the polling
time visiting all the equipment required time is less than the set, you need to
wait for the time to reach the polling time will be set after the next visit. The

At the pop-up window, the corresponding communication parameters

are set up according to the driver communication protocol. Because we
choose the “ModbusRTUClient” driver, so the pop-up window is "Serial Port
Communication Configuration", where the name of the channel can be
named according to the actual project requirements, the range of the serial
port is COM1~COM4, the baud rate is 9600 by default, and the data bit is 8
bits by default.

Network timeout time: the gateway waits for the longest response of the
device. When communication is normal, setting up longer does not affect
communication speed. if the response speed of the device is slower, in order
to avoid communication failure, it is recommended to set up a longer one,
with a default of 1000 milliseconds. The specific settings are shown in figure
4-3-2.

figure 4-3-2 Serial Port Communication Configuration

Since this acquisition end uses analog data from the Modbus Slave, the
serial communication parameters should be consistent with the settings in
the “Modbus Slave”, “Response Timeout” default 1500ms, if the device
response speed is slow, in order to avoid communication failure, it is
recommended to set a longer, such as the following figure 4-3-3.

4.8.2 Energy Conservation Office Energy Consumption Platform

[Link] Introduction to the platform services of the Energy

Conservation Office

The function of the energy-saving office energy consumption platform is

mainly used for Sunfull's gateway to collect real-time data on the site, and
upload the data to the corresponding energy-saving office energy
consumption platform in a specific format to solve the data upload problem
of the customer's energy-saving office energy consumption platform.

There are different formats for specific gateways to be reported to

specific energy-saving offices, and specific docking details can be consulted
with Sunfull technical support.

Click "IOT" in the menu bar and select "Energy Saving Office", as
shown in Figure 4-8-5.

Note:

The premise for enabling the remote upload function is that: (1) the gateway
needs to be able to connect to the Internet; (2) This function has been
enabled when uploading the project in LAN mode; (3) The computer where
X2View is located is connected to the Internet.

If you enable remote upload, you need to note that the gateway for
remote upload is distinguished based on the gateway name, subject, and
gateway ID set in the MQTT service. If you have multiple gateways, be sure
to distinguish between these three parameters.

11 Common question description

11.1 Prompt to call the web server method failed

For the use of gateways on PCS, when monitoring is started, the print
message continues with an error message “Failed to call the
“[Link] web service method failed”, there are three main
reasons for this situation.

The first possibility is that the current monitoring mode is “Gateway

Mode” and needs to be adjusted to “Local Mode”.

The second possibility is that the port number of the current web server
is occupied by other applications on the machine.

The third is that the X2ViewRuntime program is shut down and you just
have to restart monitoring.

11.2 Note the difference between upload and

download projects
Special note: after the project configuration is completed on the PC,
upload the project to the gateway through the “Upload Project” function.
When you need to view the projects in the gateway. Download the projects
in the gateway to the configuration software through the download projects
function.
