INTRODUCTION
This project focuses on the17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)and
how Norway is working towards achieving them. The SDGs, established by the
United Nations in 2015, aim to address global challenges such as poverty,
inequality, climate change, environmental degradation, and access to quality
education and healthcare. These goals serve as a blueprint for a sustainable
future for all.
Norway is recognized as a global leader in sustainability and
development,playing a key role in promoting and implementing these goals
both domestically and internationally. With its commitment to human rights,
social equality, environmental protection, and economic development,
Norway's approach to the SDGs is comprehensive and impactful.
This project will delve into each of the 17 SDG goals, exploring Norway's
strategies, achievements, and future challenges in meeting these global
targets. The goal is to provide an understanding of how a country like Norway
is contributing to a sustainable future while also addressing specific areas for
improvement.
In this project, we analyze Norway's progress towards each of the 17 SDGs, divided
among the team members as follows:
