Dear Mr. Dung,
I am writing to apply for the Mechanical Engineer position posted on VietnamWorks on April 18,
2025. I am currently a second-year student majoring in Mechanical Engineering Technology at
Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education.
During my time at university, I have been actively involved in a variety of community service
initiatives, including volunteer work, local environmental clean-up efforts, and participation in
science and engineering competitions. These experiences have not only enriched my personal
growth but also enhanced my practical understanding and academic knowledge within my field of
study. In addition, I worked part-time as a delivery person, and during my work, I had the
opportunity to interact and talk with others in the same industry, listening to them share valuable
experiences.
In addition, I actively participated in designing and building a working model of a grass trimmer.
This project not only allowed me to apply specialized knowledge in a real-world environment but
also awakened my interest in practical mechanical design. Through this experience, I developed a
deeper appreciation for problem-solving and innovation in engineering practice. I am also
proficient in design software such as AutoCAD and simulation tools like Cimco, and I have
hands-on experience in operating, programming, and running CNC machines, which has helped
me develop strong skills in precision machining. Furthermore, my benchwork skills such as
cutting, grinding, and filing materials are also good, I applied these skills to complete a hammer
head project, for which I received an A+ grade.
I am confident that my academic background, strong motivation, and practical skills will allow
