CECO FUEL CONTROL WIGGLE LINK-MODIFY

PLANNING INFORMATION

EFFECTMTY: All P/N 6875653 (CECO 104OOOA2)Gas Producer


Fuel Control Assemblies prior to and including
S/N lAACl35.

REASON: The wiggle link which transfers the motion of the


PC bellows on the air side to the fuel metering sec-
tion of the fuel control is modified into a staked
configuration.

DESCRIPTION: This bulletin is written in two parts : disassembly


of the fuel control and rework or replacement of the
seal supports; and assembly, testing, and reidentifi-
cation of the fuel control.

COMPLIANCE: This bulletin must be accomplished no later than next


overhaul following availability of parts.

MANPOWER: No additional man-hours will be required for compliance


with this bulletin at time of overhaul.

APPROVAL: FAA-DER Approved

CECO FUEL CONTROL WIGGLE LINK-MODIFY

ACCOMPLISHMENT INSTRUCTIONS:

I. At time of first repair or first overhaul or whenever fuel flow shift is


evident, modify the P/N 94312 Complete Lever Assembly (Wiggle Link)
in P/N 6875653 Fuel Control Assemblies as follows.

A. Locate and remove the P/N 94312 Lever Assembly per Volume II,
Appendix A of the 250-C20 Overhaul Manual.

B. Disassemble the P/N 94312 Lever Assembly per Gverhaul Manual


instructions.

C. If serviceable, P/N 94156 and 94158 Seal Supports may be reworked


as shown in Figure 1.

D. If unserviceable or rework is impractical, replace seal supports


with new P/N 95979 and 95980 Seal Supports.

IL Assemble, test, and reidentify the fuel control as follows.

A. Assemble the lever assembly as P/N 95981. Refer to Volume II,


Appendix A of the 250-C20 Overhaul Manual.

B. Apply enough force to hold the P/N 95979 Seal Support firmly against
the P/N 95980 Seal Support and stake as shown in Figure 2. The stake
depth must be sufficient to hold the assemblies together.

C. The P/N 95981 Lever Assembly must be capable of passing a leak


test when an external air pressure of 90 psig is applied at the center
drain hole of the lever assembly. No leakage is permissible when
stroking the lever full travel. Refer to Volume II, Appendix A of the
250-C20 Overhaul Manual for further details concerning this test.

1. If any leakage occurs, the lever assembly must be disassembled


to find and replace defective components. Check all packings
and gaskets for cuts or tears.

2. Reassemble the lever assembly and retest.

D. During assembly of the fuel control, install the P/N 95981 Lever
Assembly per Gverhaul Manual instructions.

E. Reidentify the fuel control identification plate using l/8-in.


number and letter punches as follows:
