Planet's FNSW-1600S/2400S, a high performance Fast
Ethernet Switch with 24 x 10/100Base-TX ports provides
users with high speed network connections and a choice of
console management via its RS-232 console port. With its
Auto-Negotiation capability, all RJ-45 (STP) ports of the
FNSW-1600S/2400S can be configured to speeds of
10/20Mbps or 100/200Mbps automatically or manually.
Additional features such as 4 port-based VLANs, port
trunking and redundant link make the FNSW-1600S/2400S
the ideal switch for a simple yet managed workgroup.
With a 4.8Gbps switching fabric, and high performance
throughput (filtering / forwarding rate: 14,880 packets per
second in 10Mbps, 148,800pps in 100Mbps) plus a dynamic
shared memory buffer plus 4-port based VLAN, the FNSW-
1600S/2400S can boost bandwidth, eliminate unnecessary
traffic, and relieve congestion on critical server paths. The port-trunking feature (up to 4-port) can create a
switch-to-switch link of up to 800Mbps between your FNSW-1600S/2400S and a standard switch
