The Impact of Teachers on Student Lives
If I open a cigarette and start smoking here ppl would object saying " smoking
kills". but the survey says that ppl die more from diabetes then smoking. but if
open a snicker bar here no one would have a problem. The reality is govt is putting
the sale of cig to stop the tobacco production. Now I tell this argument to my
friends and 5 of them believed in me. 3 of them started smoking. now while i just
made that bit up, but some of here i am sure believed in me and had the inclination
to check
WORDS WHEN ARTICULATED IN THE RIGHT WAY CAN CHANGE SOMEONES MIND. THEY CAN ALTER
SOMEONES BELIEFS.
TEACHERS HAVE THE POWER TO BRING A CHILD FROM THE SLUMS OF LIFE AND MAKE A
SUCCESSFUL PERSON OUT OF THEM OR DESTROY SOMEONE ENTIRELY AND TRASH THE CHILDS
CONCEPT OF SELF TO ASHES SO MUCH THAT HE WOULD TURN A COMPLETE FAILURE IN LIFE.
ITS ONLY WORDS - A Simple choice of words can make a difference between someone
accepting or denying your message - ENCOURAGER

Have you ever seen the benches and walls of the schools
A teacher walks in the classroom and this child is writing on the walls of the
classroom and the teachers calls out hey are you stupid. you stop that right now.
and i better not see you do it again. guess what the child did it again and this
time he was looking at the teacher and doing it again
NO ONE LIKES TO BE THREATENED, NO ONE LIKES TO BE INTIMIDATED, HIS PRIDE WILL NOT
ALLOW IT. He did that just to spite his teacher, a week later the teacher walks in
and he is doing it again and this time looking at the teacher in the eye and doing
it. This time the teacher calls him and says sweetie, come here dont do that you
are a big boy now. and he never did it again, because his pride wants him to be a
big boy.

A child who is always late has concentration issues dresses badly is often
perceived as neglected child by parents. and parents are perceived as complete
failure, bullied by other kids the child is suffering every single day. One teacher
gets him close askes him what his problems are helps him as much as she can, THAT
TEACHER WILL BE THE ONLY BIBLE THE CHILD WILL EVER READ. - EMOTIONAL
SUPPORT( help children navigate through bad times, develop resilience, self
confidence, personal challenges)

There was a child in a german speaking family in Austria and that child was a son
of a farmer who was doing gardening. he studied physics for 3 years in a
philosophical college and then became a monk just to get free education. HE JOINED
THE ORDER OF ST AUGUSTINE and they recognized his talent and sent him for further
studies.
LADIES AND GENTLEMAN THAT MAN IS NONE OTHER THEN YOUR OWN AUGUSTANIAN WHO IS THE
FATHER OF MORDERN GENETICS. GREGOR JOHANN MENDAL. HE BECAME A BIOLOGIST
METEROLOGIST MATHEMATICIAN AND THE FOUNDER AND FATHER OF MORDERN GENETICS.
It was his teachers who recognized the talent in him nurtured it and sharpned it
with a zeal of an evangelist. yet another responsibility as teachers.
(CREATING OPPORTUNITIES) A TEACHER IS THE ONE WHO RECOGNIZES THE TALENT HIDDEN IN
THAT CHILD AND MAKES HIM AWARE OF HIS HIDDEN POTENTIAL, YOU WILL BE THE CHILDS
FOREVER HERO.
HOW IMPORTANT A TEACHER IS- ASK A CHILD WHATS HIS FAVOURITE SUBJECT- ITS NOT THE
SUBJECT THAT MAKES IT INTERESTING ITS THE TEACHER WHO TEACHES MAKES THE SUBJECT
INTERESTING. - POSITIVE INFLUENCE ( Teachers serve as role models, demonstrating
interest in subject that she teaches and developing curiosity amongst the students)

I met a guy who is very successful in his career, shared his story. When he was in
9th st. He liked a watch of his fellow classmate and he stole it. The class mate
reported to the teacher and the they all searched everywhere the watch wasn't to be
founded. They complained to the coordinator. She came in the class and calmly told
everyone to settle down and said whoever has stolen the watch , I am sure is a good
guy but sometimes we make wrong choices, Its not too late to correct ourselves.
Whoevers taken you can come and keep it on my desk When I am not there or any of
the other teachers are not there. No one will question Who took it and why did they
take it. Your identiy is not important to us, whats important to us is that we make
good kids, who make good choices. By end of the day the child comes to her and
gives her the watch and she promises to keep this a secret. The boy never forgot
that incident and whenever he comes to india he makes sure to visits his favourite
teacher. This lady is none other then Ms. Ranjeeta Gomes The coordinator of St.
Augustine high school.
CREATING SAFE ENVIOURNMENT FOR THE CHILD. The child should be comfortable instead
of fearful to open themselves up in front of the teachers. To create a supportive
learning environment where student feel valued and respected promoting overall
well-being.

clean the yard, he asked her to pass the broom. the kid cutely said : Do your own

you come and fetch it for yourself.
TEACHERS ARE GOD, MORE IMPORTANT THEN PARENTS. - ( Life skills, critical thinking,
problem solving beyond academics)
