BDC RESOLUTION NUMBER 05-S. 2024
SUBMITTING TO THE SANGGUNIANG BARANGAY OF BACULONGAN NORTE
THE CRAFTED ANNUAL INVESTMENT PLAN FOR CY 2024, THE LONG-TERM
BARANGAY DEVELOPMENT INVESTMENT PLAN FOR CY 2024 TO 2029, AND
THE BARANGAY DEVELOPMENT PLAN 2024-2026 FOR ADOPTION AND
ENDORSEMENT TO HIGHER DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL.
WHEREAS, RA 7160, as stipulated under Section 106, states that "each local
government unit shall have a comprehensive multi-sectoral development plan to
be initiated by its development council and approved by its Sanggunian. For this
purpose, the development council shall assist the corresponding Sanggunian in
setting the direction of economic and social development, and coordinating
development efforts within its territorial jurisdiction;"
WHEREAS, based on the above premise, the Barangay Baculongan Norte
Development Council conducted feasibility studies and assessed the immediate
needs of the barangay residents;
WHEREAS, during the feasibility studies, the council listed down programs,
projects, and activities that are deemed crucial for the development of the
barangay;
WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Barangay of Baculongan Norte approved the Annual
Investment Plan for CY 2024, the Barangay Development Investment Plan for CY
2024 to 2026, and the Barangay Development Plan 2024-2026;
WHEREFORE, on motion duly seconded by the body, it is –
RESOLVED to endorse the approved Annual Investment Plan for CY 2024, the
Barangay Development Investment Plan for CY 2024 to 2026, and the Barangay
Development Plan 2024-2026 to the higher development council and the
Sangguniang Bayan for further adoption and endorsement;
UNANIMOUSLY CARRIED”.

A RESOLUTION ADOPTING AND ENDORSING BDC RESOLUTION NO. 10,
SERIES OF 2024 EMBODYING THE BACULONGAN NORTE CRAFTED ANNUAL
INVESTMENT PLAN FOR CY 2024, THE BARANGAY DEVELOPMENT
INVESTMENT PLAN FOR CY 2024 TO 2026, AND THE BARANGAY
DEVELOPMENT PLAN 2024-2026 FOR ENDORSEMENT AND INTEGRATION
INTO THE HIGHER DEVELOPMENT PLAN OF THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT
UNIT.
WHEREAS, presented for deliberation is the formulation of the Barangay
Development Plan 2024-2026 of Baculongan Norte, Buguias, Benguet;
WHEREAS, considering the importance of an updated plan to serve as a guide in
good governance, this body adopts and endorses the Barangay Development Plan
2024-2026 for integration into the higher Development Plan of the local
government unit;
WHEREAS, it is also crucial to endorse the Annual Investment Plan for CY 2024
and the Barangay Development Investment Plan for CY 2024 to 2026 to ensure
their alignment with the broader development objectives of the local government
unit;
WHEREFORE, on motion duly seconded by the body, be it –
RESOLVED, as it is hereby done, to adopt and endorse to the Higher Development
Planning Council the Barangay Development Plan 2024-2026, the Annual
Investment Plan for CY 2024, and the Barangay Development Investment Plan for
CY 2024 to 2029 of Baculongan Norte, Buguias, Benguet, for integration into the
higher Development Plan of the local government unit;
