“Investigating the Impact of Time Management on Grade 12 Senior High School

Students in Froilan A. Alanano Memorial High School”

Statement of the Problem

This generally seeks to Investigate the impact of Time Management on Grade 12

Senior High School Students in Froilan A. Alanano Memorial High School. This study

can be beneficial for educational institutions, as it provides insight into how Time

Management can make a good impact for Grade 12 students as it helps them focus on

what needs to be done at the moment, allowing them to prioritize tasks efficiently.

Additionally, effective Time Management can lead to increased productivity, better

organizational skills, and reduced stress, all of which can contribute to better academic

outcomes.

Specifically, it tries to answer the following questions;

1. What are the strategies that students in Grade-12 use to manage their time and

how affective are they?

2. How do students in Grade-12 spend their free time?

3. What are the challenges and barriers that Grade-12 students face when it comes to

time management, and how can these be overcome?

4. What are the key skills that students need to develop in order to become an

effective time managers, and how can these be taught?


Scope and Delimitation of the Study

Out of 26 students in Grade-12 at Froilan A. Alanano, only 12 students were used

as a sample in conducting the survey.

This study limits its coverage on 12nd grade students only. Its most common

purpose is to Investigate the Impact of Time Management on the Grade-12 students in

Froilan A. Alanano Memorial High School.

This study considers the students information that is related on the research topic

that will be observed by the researcher. Such as knowing their Time management

practices or their daily routines, age, gender , aspiration and their plans for the future.

Each respondents will be given a questionnaire that they will answer for

themselves. And this study only focuses on the current Grade-12 students of the present

year, 2023-2024.
Significance of the study

This study will be beneficial to the following;

To the Teachers. This study will serve as a guide for teacher’s to understand the students

way of managing there time and if students really have the ability to manage there time

well at school and even at home and how it can impact to their students.

To the Students. This study will serve as a guide for students to understand on how Time

Management can give a really huge impact to the students. They will understand how

managing time well will help them prioritize tasks efficiently. Additionally, effective

Time Management can lead to increased productivity, better organizational skills, and

reduced stress, all of which can contribute to better academic outcomes.

To the Parents. Being the guardian of the students, they will understand the impact of

time management to their children’s. Through this study, they can help their children’s to

manage there time properly.

To the Future Researchers. They may use this study as a reference materials to their on-

going study which has the same impact.
