Sub: Complaint Regarding Damaged Consignment
Dear Sir,
We recently received the consignment of books sent by you under your
Invoice No. B/92 dated 10th November 2024. Unfortunately, we regret to
inform you that the books arrived in a damaged condition.
The batch of "Modern Economics" (50 copies) has suffered severe
damage, with torn covers and missing pages in several copies. Similarly,
"Introduction to Political Science" (30 copies) appears to have been mishandled,
as the bindings are coming apart and the pages are crumpled. It seems that the
packaging was inadequate to protect the books during transit.
The estimated value of the damaged books amounts to ₹3,200. We
request that you either offer a 40% discount on the damaged items or arrange
for a replacement at the earliest. In case this is not possible, we may have to
consider returning the consignment to [Link] hope for your prompt action in
resolving this matter.
