Helped a large pharmacy chain in the US shift focus from increasing transactions to driving positive health outcomes: As
the US govt. began to incentivize a shift to patient outcomes a large pharmacy was struggling to understand impact. An
intelligent dashboard was designed to provide a view of revenue at risk, performance of various initiatives with an in-built
anomaly detection engine to quickly highlight areas of improvement.
Helped a large pharmacy allocate marketing budget at a zip level for their newspaper insert channel to help balance
customer satisfaction with profitability: Developed a framework using ensemble of machine learning techniques to
quantify impact of the channel in every zip leading to optimization of spend by 50%
Helped a large asset manager with their asset retention program: Developed tree based propensity models to identify
leading indicators of a large redemption and put in place a framework to help arrest the same.
Regional Head Business development - Australia & APAC: Designed go-to-market strategy for expanding Mu Sigma’s
footprint to Australia and APAC markets.
Led Business development: Executed complete sales cycle from initiation to deal closure. Focused on key accounts to
penetrate new sub-groups and establish Mu Sigma as a trusted partner.
Managed RFP response process: Program managed RFP responses to clients in the region. Won a multi-year exclusive
partnership bid with the Chief Data Officer’s organization in one of Australia’s largest insurers. Project managed 4 analytics
proof of concepts in parallel, in a month long competitive bid against established players. Led discussions with Chief Data

Wishary Technologies/Planet 11 – Grocery Ecommerce start-up now part of South Korean conglomerate Apr’15 – Mar’17
Led investor relations and negotiated eventual sale of company: Liaised with investors and spearheaded the acquisition of
the company by the 3rd largest South Korean conglomerate, SK Group.
Product Strategy: Developed the minimum viable product to target the grocery ecommerce market in tier-2 cities of South
India. In keeping with the target audience, developed a simple one click mobile app user flow. Integrated with low-end
technology solutions like SMS to initiate a consumer's interaction with the service.
Business Development: Devised the go to market strategy for the deals marketplace model in tier-2 cities in Tamil Nadu.
Led field sales to tie-up with local grocery shops. Executed low cost BTL marketing activities to drivesales.
Led Investor Relations: Liaised with domestic and international investors to introduce the company's vision andbusiness
model. Ensured Wishary was covered by media houses like HT, Yourstory, Inc42 etc. Executed a ~$1million acquisition with
SK Planet, South Korea's largest ecommerce company to become part of SK Group.
As VP Marketing and Sales post acquisition, built the core field sales, marketing and merchandising organization:Managed
a ~$ 1.5mn budget and built a team of 20+ full time and contract based employees.
Built the Field Sales and Operations team: Built the field sales and operations team of 2 sales managers and 12 sales
executives. Defined target areas, route plans, KPIs and incentive structure for the team. Put in place reporting process to
keep track of metrics. Introduced a non-monetary recognition process to motivate the team to ensure quality of service.
Set up the marketing and merchandising team: Built an extremely flexible 4 member marketing team with strong focus
on experimentation and data analysis. A highly experienced merchandising team of 2 helped build a pipeline of niche
brands and deals on the platform.
Field Sales and Operations Planning: Built the kirana owners community to 50+ in 3months. Defined the operating process
from sale to order fulfillment.
Defined the Field Sales and Operations process: Defined the sales pitch, designed appropriate sales collateral and finalized
seller agreement clauses. Kick started the product database creation strategy and mapping of the same with seller
inventory.
Call Centre Operating Process: Defined the process flow for the orders on Call or WhatsApp. Designed a dashboard for
creation of new orders and for complaints on existing orders.
