PROJECT 2: THE DASAVATARA HOTEL, TIRUPATI

Located in the serene suburbs of Tirupati in the foothills of the Saptagiri range, the
Dasavatara Hotel is one of the very few projects in the country that strikingly takes after the
Hindu Temple design in organization and experience. Dasavatara’s uniqueness also lies in
the material storytelling of its interior spaces, drawn from spirituality, mythology and
symbolism. Rich traditional crafts of India offer myriad expressions, which have been
amalgamated across the hotel in functional and contemporary ways.

PROJECT 3: MARASA BUSINESS HOTEL, RAJKOT, GUJARAT

This contemporary look relies on clean detailing to achieve a fresh look through uninterrupted
surfaces, materials, international appeal with respect to colour & form.
‘Contemporary, International and Sophisticated’ were the chosen adjectives to renovate and transform
a “cluttered, awkward and gaudy” existing but decrepit Marasa business hotel architecture in Rajkot.

The look evolved from the need to cater to an international business clientele, and the desire to stay
minimal and fresh, despite the tight constraints of an existing site.

PROJECT 4: AYUSHAKTI HEALTH RESORT, MUMBAI, MAHARASHTRA

The representation of Ayurveda as a contemporary science rooted in Indian tradition is the message
the building attempts to portray. The architecture embraces Ayurveda's essence, blending healing with
light, air, and space. Facing monsoons, the design strategically opens the east facade with balconies
and traditional chajjas, while the west facade is protected from harsh sun and rain. Crafted from
natural stone, terracotta, reclaimed wood, and IPS, the palette reflects tradition and local materials,
fostering warmth.

PROJECT 5: HOTEL ON THE GANGES, RISHIKESH, UTTARAKHAND

The site for this hotel sits at the feet of a little hillock, and its long and narrow shape slopes
down towards the unseen Ganga. The river, on the site, is an unseen, unheard, but
omnipotent presence.
