Master of Science in Cybersecurity Analytics

Cybersecurity Experts are Vital to the Security of Individuals
and Organizations
The need for cybersecurity has skyrocketed over the last decade
to the point that the demand for cyber experts is far greater
than the supply. We have created the Master of Science in Cyber-
security Analytics in Wentworth’s School of Computing and Data
Science to prepare a generation of professionals to fill that void.
In this program, you will gain expertise in information gathering,
network security tools and techniques, data management, and
effective event correlation strategies. You’ll study threat intelligence,
malware analysis, data mining, incident response, and data
science. With our hands-on approach to learning, you’ll be prepared
to defend data and digital assets from attack while properly
identifying and remediating potential breaches. This program
is offered full-time on the Wentworth campus.

Paying for Grad School Yes, you can afford graduate school.
In fact, it’s one of the best investments you’ll ever
make in your career. You could stay in the job
market and climb the ladder one step at a time…or
you can leap over several rungs with the skills,

about how to make the initial investment, we offer
a number of options.

Paying for Grad School Federal Loans
Direct Unsubsidized Stafford Loan
The annual limit for this loan is $20,500, the total loan limit (including Stafford loans
borrowed as an undergraduate) is $138,500. The loan is unsubsidized, which means
that you pay the interest, although you can defer the payments until after graduation.

Direct PLUS Loans

These federal loans for graduate study can help fill the gap between the cost of
attendance and your financial aid package. Review of your application will include an
assessment of your credit. And keep in mind you will be required to repay any federal
loans with interest.

Graduate Fellowships
Graduate Fellowships allow you to work approximately 10 hours a week at
Wentworth to earn additional funding over the academic year. The positions include
studio/lab fellows, research fellows, teaching fellows, and tutors. These fellowships are
not just a great way to help finance your education, they are an excellent opportunity
to enhance your resume.

Graduate fellowships are limited. You will be invited to apply if your program qualifies
and still has open positions available. Once awarded, the Graduate Fellowship position
is renewable for the length of the program, not to exceed two academic years,
provided you are a full-time student in good academic standing and meet the
minimum academic standards set by the program.

*Please note:

• Scholarships cannot be stacked. Students (including alumni) will only be awarded for one of the awards
in the suite even if they qualify for more than one. Scholarships and discounts cannot be combined.
