Personal Awareness & Responsibility

Strengths:
1. “I use a variety of strategies to manage my personal wellbeing”. I often like to try
to relax as much as possible to help with my stress levels. I also try to be
physically active and healthy.

2. “I can set goals, regulate my emotions and persevere in difficult situations.” I am

pretty calm especially when it comes to things getting out of hand. I find It works
best for me in not only sports, but during everyday life.

Weaknesses:
1. “I can express my needs and seek help when needed.” I do not often ask for help
when I am stuck on something such as assignments, but I will be getting into the
habit of asking more frequently.

Social Responsibility

Strengths:
1. “I have positive peer and intergenerational relationships” I have supportive
friends and family who will support my goals and learning.

2. “I am aware of my community and environment and work independently and

collaboratively for the benefit of others” I feel like I work efficiently both
independently and with others as this is one of my strongest traits in this
reflection.

Weaknesses:
1. “I value diversity, defend human rights, advocate for others, and act ethically, in
all my interactions.” I feel like I try my best to meet all of these, and I strive to be
even better in the future.

Critical Thinking:
Strengths:
1. “I can assess my progress” I like to keep track of all my progress and thoughts
throughout a project or assignment. It helps me stay organized and not have my
thoughts all over the place.
2. “I can analyze and make defensible judgments, draw conclusions, and consider
a variety of perspectives.”

Weaknesses:
1. “I can ask good quality questions, gather relevant information, and come up with
well-developed conclusions.” My biggest weakness is asking questions, it is
something I am constantly working on.

Creative Thinking
Strengths:
1. “I can persevere and understand that failure can be productive.” This is another
essential strength; without it its extremely hard to find progress in what you are doing.

2. “ I can use the environment around me, including others, and my unconscious
mind to generate new ideas.” I like to talk my thoughts over with others to see
where everyone else is at compared to me.

Weaknesses:
1. “I can create new and unique ideas that may provide new perspectives that
influence how people think about topics.” I sometimes have a challenging time
producing ideas so this is one area I would like to improve on.

Communication:
1. “I can work with other students to plan, inquire, and solve problems.” This is one
strategy that helps me with gathering my thoughts and sharing them with others.

Weaknesses:
1. “I can engage in deep and meaningful inquiry for a variety of purposes.” My
biggest weakness is communication, especially Infront of an audience.
2. “I can listen, learn to contribute meaningfully to discussion and debate, consider
different perspectives, and build consensus.” This moves along the same lines of
speaking Infront of people. I have gotten better at this over time but still struggle.
Personal and Cultural Identity
Strengths
1. “I understand how what I value has and will shape my choices.” This caught my
eye because its something I think about often.
2. “I know my strengths and what makes me unique.” This is one of the most
important traits you can have; learning your weaknesses can also turn into a
strength as well.

Weaknesses.
1. “I can define myself in terms of my relationship to others and to the world.” I dont
believe this is a strength of mine.
