How to start with Algo

Trading/Robots
Desktop manual

First open your Metatrader4 platform.

Go on View and choose Terminal

from the dropdown. 


That will open the Terminal in the

bottom of your Metatrader page.


Press on the Market tab in the bottom, and the
Filter your robots by
robots will appear above.

You will need to Login

or Sign up in the

Open it MQL5 community.


If you want your robot to be active 24/7 you will need to host it on a Virtual
Machine for free.

Just download your robot on your computer, make a registration on the

MQL5 community website and notify your account manager.

To find your robot go on


View/Navigator and

a tab will open in the left


middle of your screen.

Click on your robot f rom the

Navigator tab and a window will

open in the middle of your screen.


Press OK to turn your robot on.

Click on your robot

and drag in on the

chart that you

wanted it to trade on.

After you grad and

drop the robot on

your graph a window

will appear with

description and

specifications about

that EA.

Press on the sad face


on the top right corner and the following

screen will appear

You need to make sure

that you check:

“Autotrading” f rom

red to green

“Allow live trades”

“Long and Short”

And the optional ones,

“Allow DLL importing,”

or

“Import external

experts”


And then press one

the Auto Trading

button to enable it.

When you finish with all the steps the sad face will smile!


That means your robot is working!
