Before we dive into the study of Angelic Healing, let‘s define our terms
and create a foundation of core knowledge about the angels. An ―angel,‖
in our terms, is a celestial (nonphysical) being who is an egoless
messenger of God. In fact, the word angel derives from the Greek and
translates to the phrase ―messenger of God.‖

Angels are the deliverers of Heaven‘s love and guidance.

Every person has at least two guardian angels. Many people have more,
either because they‘ve asked for additional angels or because others have
asked God to send them on their behalf. These are your personal angels,
who are with you for your entire lifetime. Some angels will come and go
throughout your life, depending upon your circumstances and needs. But
your core guardian angels will remain consistent.

Your guardian angels are with you every moment of every day. They
unconditionally love you, no matter what, and want the best for you.
They never tire of you or get bored, frustrated, or upset with you.
They‘re angels, after all!

Help from the Angels We don‘t pray to, or worship, the angels. We give
all glory to God. The angels are nondenominational and assist people of
every belief. They work alongside Jesus and the ascended masters of all
religious faiths.

The angels have a purpose to enact God‘s will, which is peace upon Earth,
one person at a time. These beings know that if each of us is peaceful,
then we‘ll have a world of peaceful people. So, really, your life‘s purpose
is to be at peace, and the angels want to help you with this. While it‘s true
that challenges do help us grow, the angels also say that serenity leads to
even bigger growth spurts. Through tranquility, our schedules and
creativity are more open to giving service, and our bodies operate in a
healthy fashion. Our relationships thrive and blossom, and we‘re shining
examples of God‘s love.

Sometimes people say to me, ―Well, God already knows what I need, so I
won‘t ask for anything.‖ True . . . however, we were created with free
will. This means that God and the angels can‘t intervene into our lives
without our permission. In other words, we must ask for their help before
they can assist us.

It doesn‘t matter how you ask, but only that you do. You can say your
request aloud, silently, or in writing. You can sing, whisper, type, or even
scream your request for Heaven‘s guidance. You can word it in positive,
affirmative ways or as an appeal of supplication. Any form of asking for
assistance is enough to give God and the angels permission to intervene.
I also hear people say, ―I don‘t want to bother Heaven with my petty
tasks.‖ To celestial beings, though, nothing is too small or too large.
They simply want to help us with whatever brings us peace, and many
times it‘s the small favors that result in long-lasting peacefulness.

The angels say that it‘s also the small stressors in life that erode peace.
So ask for help, as your contribution to world peace. If you don‘t know
what to ask for, that‘s okay. You can simply say, ―Please help me to be at
peace,‖ and they‘ll get to work on your behalf. Or request something
specific and say, ―This, or something better, please, God,‖ since Heaven
always has higher standards than our own.

Just don‘t hand God and the angels a script about how to fix a situation.
Similarly, don‘t waste time or energy worrying about how Heaven will
help you. The ―how‖ is up to God‘s infinite Divine wisdom. Your job is
only to ask for help and then to follow the guidance sent to you (more on
this guidance later).

I‘m sometimes asked, ―Why should I talk to angels when I can talk to
God?‖ This is an excellent question! When I posed it to God and the
angels, here‘s the reply I received:

―When people are afraid and most in need of Heavenly help, their
vibrations are too low to hear and feel the pure love of God. The angels,
who are closer to Earth, are easier to hear and feel when someone is
fearful or stressed.

Then they can lift the person‘s vibrations and help him or her be unafraid
and at peace and return to a clear connection with God.‖

Everyone can hear and talk with God and the angels. You don‘t need to be
specially trained, qualified, or deserving. All are equally qualified and
deserving of Heaven‘s love and help. You were created in the image and
likeness of God. So you share the Divine qualities of love, abundance,
health, beauty, and goodness. We all do.

You might ask, ―Since everyone has guardian angels, why is there evil
and suffering in the world?‖ Another excellent question. If everyone
listened to their guardian angels, we‘d have a world of loving and
peaceful people. There would be no evil, which stems from fear about a
lack of resources, which in turn causes people to act selfishly.

When you work with angels, in contrast, you begin to understand that
there is no need to compete, because there is plenty of everything to go
around for everyone. You begin to share freely, without fear of running
out of resources.

Angels are different from departed friends and relatives. While these
people can act like angels, they‘re still humans with egos and fallible
opinions. There‘s no problem with talking with your grandma or other
departed loved ones to keep in contact. To get pure Divine guidance,
though, you‘ll want to direct your conversations to God and the egoless
angels (and Jesus or other ascended masters with whom you feel aligned).
The spirit world, where angels live, isn‘t a faraway place. Heaven is all
around us, in a different dimension. This is similar to the frequency bands
of different radio stations all existing simultaneously.

Your angels are celestial beings who have not lived on the earth before as
humans, unless they were previously incarnated angels, who manifest into
human form either temporarily to avert a crisis, or for an entire lifetime so
that they can more directly help and guide people.

Angelology, the study of angels, holds that there are nine ―choirs‖ or
branches of angels, which include:

Who are the Archangels?

Archangels are the most powerful group of angels and they act as
extensions of Spirit. You don‘t have to belong to any certain religion to
work with the Archangels.

They will help anyone who calls on them. Archangels are so big and
powerful that they can help everyone who calls on at the same time. So,
as you work with the angels, don‘t worry that you are asking questions
that are too small and unimportant or that you are pulling them away from
someone else who needs them more. They can help all of us at the same
time. We just have to ask.

As humans, we have free will. This means that the angels will not
intervene in our lives unless we ask them for help. The only exception to
this rule is when we are in a life-threatening situation before our time.
Other than that extreme circumstance, the angels will watch and wait
quietly for your invitation to help.

How to ask the Angels for help

Asking the Archangels for help is simple. You don‘t have to say or do
anything fancy. You don‘t have to worry about saying the right or wrong
words because the angels won‘t judge you. You can speak your request
out loud, think it in your mind, or write the angels a letter about your
situation. Simply say something like:

―Archangels, please help me with [describe your problem].

I‘m confused and I don‘t know what to do. Please show me which
direction to go for my highest good.‖

When you know more about each of the Archangels and their specialty
powers, you can call on each angel specifically, depending on your
situation. That‘s why I have created this guide! Don‘t feel like you have
to memorize this entire list. If you can‘t remember which angel is which
right away, then just say a general prayer to the Archangels. And ask
Archangel Zadkiel to help you with your memory, because that is his
specialty!

All you have to do is ask and the angels will come to you and assist you.

Sometimes you will see evidence of their intercession right away. Other
times you will have to wait a little while to notice how they are helping
and what they are doing.

Signs that angels are helping you

Depending on the situation, you can receive all kinds of different signs
that the Archangels and near you and helping you. If you get the feeling
that something is a message from your angels, then it probably is.

Here are a few universal signs from the angels:

• White feathers that appear where there is no obvious source.

• Seeing the number 4 pop up often, especially 444.
• Feeling a shift in energy or a tingling sensation after calling on the
Angels
• Things working out better than you could have planned
 Your prayers being answered

How to Use This Guide

This guide has two parts. The first is a brief description of each of the
most famous Archangels and their unique powers. The second part of this
guide is a list of specific problems or challenges that you may face and
which angel to call on for each situation.

I know that the angels have helped me in so many situations. I hope that
this angel guide will give you more information about the angels so that
you can also work with them to make your life easier, more peaceful and
more fun.

people, angels have specialties. You can ask for the ones best qualified to
help with a particular situation, or call upon the following specialty

The Four “Clairs”

Because you have guardian angels with you continuously you receive
angelic messages every moment of every day. The question isn‘t whether
your angels talk to you, but whether you notice their communications.
That‘s because angels may speak to you in ways that differ from your
expectations.

Angels, along with other Heavenly beings, communicate in four ways:

1. Through visions: This applies to things that you see mentally or with
your physical eyes; what you see in dreams; signs that appear before
you; seeing flashing or sparkling lights; sensing light orbs in
photographs; seeing moving objects; or noticing number sequences
repeatedly such as 444 or 111. This is called clairvoyance, which
means ―clear seeing.‖

2. Through feelings: These are emotions that come out of the blue, such
as joy, excitement, and compassion; physical sensations disconnected to
the physical world, such as feeling suddenly warm or feeling changes in
air temperature or air pressure; sensing a spiritual presence; feeling as if
someone has touched you; or smelling an essence with no physical origin,
such as flowers or smoke. This is called clairsentience, which means
―clear feeling.‖

3. Through thoughts: This is when you know something without knowing

how you know. It can also mean receiving an ―Aha!‖ revelation; being
able to fix an item without instructions; having very wise words come
through your speech or writings, as if someone else gave them to you;
getting a great idea for a new invention, business, or product; and
experiencing ―I knew 5. that!‖ thoughts after something occurs. This is
called claircognizance, which means ―clear thinking.‖

4 . Through sounds: This refers to hearing your name called as you

awaken; celestial- sounding music from out of nowhere; a warning from a
disembodied voice; a conversation or radio/TV program that gives you
the exact information you need; a loving message in your mind or outside
one ear; or a high-pitched ringing sound.
This is called clairaudience, which means ―clear hearing.‖

Archangel Michael ―he who is as God‖

Michael is one of the most powerful and famous Archangels. He is

usually depicted as a strong warrior with a sword. When you call on him,
you can often feel a warm, tingling energy right away. He is a wonderful
protector and always wants you to know that you are safe. If you feel
scared, worried or unsafe, call on Michael to protect you and release you
from any troubling, anxious thoughts.

Archangel Michael is very talented at clearing away negative energies,

cords and attachments. If you feel distracted, sluggish, co-dependent,
fatigued, or troubled, ask Michael to clear away any cords, negative
energies, hooks, attachments or residues
from in and around your body. Ask him to send these energies
permanently away from you and to protect and shield you from other
energies returning. Then envision yourself filled with warm, protective
white light.

Archangel Raphael ―God heals‖

Raphael is the healing angel. He has a beautiful, emerald green energy

that you can visualize around you anytime that you are in need of healing.
He can help with emotional, physical and spiritual healing. Raphael can
help you to release negative energy and clear your body and mind from
blocks and negativity. And he assists people who work as healers to have
success in their careers.

If you have a friend or family member who is need of healing, you can
call on Archangel Raphael on their behalf. Just ask him to be with that
person and surround them in his healing light, as much as they will allow.
Your loved ones have free will, so they can choose to either accept or
ignore Raphael‘s efforts.

Raphael is also the angel to call on when you are traveling because he
will help to ensure that your trip goes smoothly. He helps lost pets to find
their way home. And he‘s very skilled at matchmaking! So call on
Archangel Raphael if you are looking to meet your soul mate.

Archangel Gabriel ―God is my strength‖

Gabriel is all about communication. And Gabriel actually has a very

feminine energy. Angels don‘t have physical bodies so they don‘t have a
gender, but Gabriel‘s vibes are very feminine, so I think of her as a lady
angel.

She appears in several Bible stories as a messenger from Spirit and she
continues in that role today. She helps people who speak and write for a
living like authors and journalists to succeed in their jobs and communi-
cate effectively. And she also assists
people involved in any sort of creative endeavor like acting, art and
music.

You don‘t have to have a creative career to call on Archangel Gabriel.

She helps anyone who needs to express themselves clearly. In several of
my client readings, she has come through to offer her help with writing
important letters or having a difficult conversation with family
members. Anytime you need to speak or write and aren‘t sure what to say,
call on Gabriel for help.

Archangel Uriel ―God is light‖

I think of Uriel as a wise guidance counselor. He‘s really helpful when

you‘re trying to make important life decisions, especially when they have
to do with your life‘s purpose.

If you feel confused about what to do, ask Uriel to help guide you and to
reveal any further information that you need to know to make a good
choice. Uriel is also the angel to ask for further clarification if you are still
doubting your choices or unsure of
what to do.

Uriel has a message for you about decision making. If you are trying to
decide what to do next and you call on the angels, meditate, talk with
your friends, and still don‘t know what to do, then this issue really isn‘t
that big of a deal in the grand scheme of things and you can do whatever
you want! In many situations you don‘t have to search so hard for the
right answer because when the stakes are high, your angels and guides
will always make things clear to you. So, if you are faced with a choice
and you don‘t know and you just can‘t seem to get clear, then the best
thing to do is pick something and move forward. Uriel and the other
angels won‘t let you down.

Archangel Haniel ―grace of God‖

Haniel is a beautiful, feminine angel with close ties to moon energy. She
encourages you to honor the cycles of the earth and your body. She also
wants to help you to get in touch with your special psychic gifts and use
them to help others.

Haniel is a very gentle angel, so you may not feel her presence strongly
when she is near, but she wants you to know that she always comes to
you when you ask her. She wants to help you move through your life with
grace and confidence. Call on her when you are about to do public
speaking or have an important conversation.

Finally, Haniel wants to give a message to sensitive people. Your

sensitivity is a gift. Sometimes it can feel like a burden, but that just
means that you need to pay more attention to the message that your body
and soul are sending you. Learn to listen to your sensitive reactions to
people, places and things and to honor the wisdom you receive.

She is wonderful at helping with de-cluttering and letting go of items that

are no longer useful. Then, when you‘ve gotten rid of the junk, Jophiel
will help you to decorate your home so that it is beautiful, warm and
inviting.

Jophiel also helps you to beautify your thoughts. So, if you find yourself
feeling anxious, worried or engaging in negative self talk, ask Jophiel to
help you to release these thoughts and to bring positive, loving, peaceful
thoughts into your mind instead.

Artists, writers and musicians can call on Jophiel for inspiration and
assistance in making beautiful art and expressing their creativity.

She is especially drawn to protecting and healing bodies of water like
rivers, lakes and oceans. You can best experience Ariel‘s gentle, loving
energy when you are outside in nature.

If you feel that your life‘s purpose includes helping the Earth to be a
cleaner, healthier place for humans and animals, then Ariel wants to enlist
your help! Ask her for guidance about what type of work you should be
doing to help the environment and she will connect you with people who
can use your skills and talents.

Ariel works with Archangel Raphael to heal animals that are in need. So,
if you feel concerned about an endangered species or animals living in
your area, ask Archangel Ariel to heal and protect them.

Archangel Chamuel ―he who sees God‖

Chamuel is the finding angel. He can help you to find lost items, friends,

and hoping to find it, ask Archangel Chamuel for assistance with your
search and he will come to you right away to help you. He might give you
ideas about where to look, or assist in bringing you together with a person
that you want to meet.

Chamuel can also help you to find your life‘s purpose. If you feeling lost
or unsure of what to do with your life, Chamuel can help. He wants you to
know that you can‘t get it wrong and you will never get it done.
He realizes that work and career are important to most people and he
wants to help you to find meaningful work that helps others and the
world.

Chamuel protects the earth from dark, negative energies and assists with
world peace. If you are concerned about current events, Chamuel wants
you to ask him for help rather than fret and worry. Picture Archangel
Chamuel going to the part of the world where there is strife and working
to remove dark energies that are promoting the problems. You may not
see his impact right away because all people have free will, but the

Azrael is the angel of death, but don‘t let that scare you. He is actually the
opposite of scary. I love to call on Archangel Azrael because I can feel
his calming, soothing and comforting energy. He is there to assist people
as they are dying and he accompanies them to the light of heaven. Azrael
also comforts the family and friends as they deal with the grief of losing a
loved one.

If you have a friend or family member who is nearing the end of their
time on Earth, ask Azrael to assist them in passing peacefully without
pain or suffering. And also ask him to comfort you and others who care
about this person as you grieve and adjust to life without them in physical
form. However, Azrael wants to remind you that your deceased loved
ones are still very much with you in spirit and he can help you to feel
their presence when they are near.

Azrael also wants to help you with any kind of grief that you might
experience such as losing a job or a breakup. He can help you to feel ease
and comfort in times of upheaval and transition in your life. Call on him
to soothe you during difficult times.

Jeremiel works with Azrael in greeting souls as they enter heaven. He

helps them to conduct a life review and look back on the things they have
done with their lives. He doesn‘t want you to feel fearful about this
process. He is not there to judge you or punish you for any mistakes. He‘s
more like a coach that‘s going over the game with his players and making
a plan for what they can do differently next time.

Archangel Jeremiel wants to encourage you to do a life review yourself

while you are still here on Earth, because that makes your work together
so much easier when you return back to the light. The purpose of a life
review is not to dwell in regret and shame about your mistakes, but rather
to acknowledge them, learn the lessons, let them go and move on to make
different choices in the future. Jeremiel can help you to make sense of
your life journey and get you unstuck if you are feeling blocked in any
area of your life.

If you would like Jeremiel to help you with a life review, set aside some
quiet time to journal and ask him for help with remembering important
events and realizing the lessons that you can learn. If you‘re not into

Raguel is the angel of friendship. He wants you to have lots of wonderful

friends in your life and to have an energetically balanced relationship. If
you feel there are people in your life who are taking advantage of you or
not respecting you, ask Archangel Raguel for courage and empowerment.
He is all about justice and fairness and helps those who feel oppressed.

One if Raguel‘s special skills is mediating conflicts and arguments to

return relationships to a harmonious state. Again, he has a strong energy
of fairness, so he will assist both parties in getting what they deserve from
a situation while resolving any bitterness or hard feelings.

Raguel can also give you a boost of energy when you‘re feeling tired or
rundown. He wants you to know that everything is working out as it
should and that you don‘t have to strive so hard to create what you want
in your life. Allow him and the other angels to assist you with your
dreams and goals so that you don‘t burn yourself out. Raguel acts as a
great friend to everyone who calls on him for help. But remember, he will
only assist you if you ask him.

Archangel Raziel ―secret of God‖

Raziel can help you understand all of the secrets of the universe. Or at
least the ones that you need to know today! He‘s telling me to let you
know that humans will never know all that he knows, and that‘s ok! He
helps give you the knowledge that pertains to your life and helps you to
understand your spirit guides and manifest things and experiences that
you want.

My clients sometimes ask me how they can know if they are receiving a
message from Spirit vs. just a coincidence. Raziel wants you to know that
it‘s normal for humans to struggle with this question and he can help you
to decipher what events have a bigger meaning and what you can take at
face value. He also wants to reassure you that if you miss a message from
Spirit, then your Angels and guides will send you the same message
again. You can‘t get this wrong if you are seeking and listening.

Raziel can also help you to develop your psychic abilities along with
Archangel Haniel. If you‘re a sensitive person or an empath and you

Archangel Zadkiel ―righteousness of God‖

Zadkiel is the angel of mercy and compassion. He can help you to

understand and forgive others as well as yourself. If you are having
trouble forgiving and moving on from a difficult situation, ask Zadkiel to
help you clear away bitterness and replace it with love.

Archangel Zadkiel can really help you with memory enhancement. Ask
him for help if you forgot where you put something important such as car
keys or your passport.

Zadkiel helps students with their studies and test-taking. If you‘re

studying for a test, ask Archangel Zadkiel to assist you with remembering
the most important information.

Zadkiel also helps teachers to communicate information to their students

in a way that enables the students to learn effectively.
Finally, Zadkiel wants you to notice any ideas or guidance that comes into
your mind. If an idea feels positive and loving, then consider taking
action. If it feels heavy, dark, or provokes anxiety, then it is not coming
from the light and you can ask Archangels Zadkiel and Michael to protect
you from the influence of lower energy spirits. The same is true for
advice that other people give you. Feel it out first and only take action if it
feels loving and positive.

Archangel Metatron ―angel of the Presence‖

Metatron is one of the two archangels who existed as a human named

Enoch. The other is Sandalphon who you can read about below. Enoch
was a prophet and a scribe on earth and he lived such a pure life that he
was transformed into an archangel.

Metatron kept his scribe talents in heaven and is now in charge of The

Archangel Sandalphon ―brother‖

Sandalphon is the other archangel who once lived as a human. In his

human lifetime he was the prophet Elijah, who is mentioned in the Bible.
Like Metatron, he is an intermediary between heaven and earth. One of
Sandalphon‘s key roles is to carry prayers from Earth to heaven and then
deliver back to you any messages from Spirit.

He wants you to know that your prayers and requests are always
answered. Be patient and believe that everything in your life is working
out for your greatest good.

Sandalphon is the angel of music and he can help musicians to compose

and create beautiful music that uplifts the listeners. If you are learning to
play a musical instrument or sing, ask Sandalphon for assistance. He can
also help with any creative blocks that musicians might face as they
create their music. He wants you to know that he does not prefer one style
of music over another and he will help you whether you are a rocker, a
rapper, a country singer or a classical pianist.

Invoking the Four Archangels

This ritual invokes Michael, Gabriel, Raphael, and Uriel. It is used mainly
to gain insight and protection for yourself, people you know, and for all of
humanity.

I like to stand while doing this ritual, but you can sit down in a straight-
backed chair, if you prefer. Face east. Close your eyes and take three or
four deep breaths. Visualize yourself surrounded by a pure white light of
protection.

When you feel ready, invoke Michael, the archangel of the south. He
stands by your right-hand side. You do this by saying the following words
out loud:

―I now invoke the mighty and powerful Archangel Michael to stand at my

right-hand side. Please grant me the strength, courage, integrity, and
protection I need to fulfill my purpose in this incarnation. Please use your
sword to cut away any doubts and negativity. Surround me with your
protection, so that I may always work on the side of good. Thank you.‖

Pause for thirty seconds. Become aware of Michael standing beside you,
and be alert for any insights or words that he may offer. When you feel
ready, invoke Uriel to stand at your front. Use the following, or similar,
words:

―I now invoke the mighty and powerful Archangel Uriel to stand on my

front. Please release all my tensions, worries, and insecurities. Grant me
tranquility and peace of mind. Help me to serve others, and to give and
receive generously. Thank you.‖

Pause again for thirty seconds, and see if Uriel has a message for you.
You will sense Uriel standing to your left. Smiling, acknowledge his
presence, and remain alert for any wisdom or advice that he might offer.
When you feel ready, invoke Raphael to stand in front of you.

―I now invoke the mighty and powerful Archangel Raphael to stand in

Back of me. Please fill me with wholeness and good health. Help me heal

the wounds from the past. Please heal and restore every aspect of my
being. Thank you."
Pause silently, and see if Raphael has a message for you. You are likely to
sense the wholeness and unity he brings to your being, even if you do not
receive a specific message. When you feel ready, ask Gabriel to stand
behind you.

―I now invoke the mighty and powerful Archangel Gabriel to stand

left-hand of me. Please bring me insights so that I may always walk in the
light. Remove all my doubts and fears, and purify my body, mind, and
spirit. Thank you.‖

Again pause to see if Gabriel has a message for you. Once you have done
this, experience the different energies tour archangels around you.
Although they provide you with completely different energies, each is an
aspect of the Divine Consciousness. Naturally, as human beings, we tend
to visualize the archangels as powerful beings, probably giant-like, but
otherwise much like us, draped in gorgeous robes, surrounding and
protecting us. It makes no difference how you perceive the archangels.
The important thing to remember when performing this ritual is that you
are experiencing the divine.

Enjoy the feelings of peace, security, and bliss. When you feel ready, ask
the archangels for help, guidance, and protection for you, your family and
friends, your community, country, and the entire world. You will
experience the response in different ways. You may feel as if a flash of
electricity has passed right through you. You may notice a distinct change
in the temperature of the room. You may experience a sense of knowing
that everything you have asked for will be granted.

Enjoy the comfort and security of the archangels‘ company for as long as
you wish. When you feel ready to return to the everyday world, thank
each of the archangels in turn, starting with Gabriel, and following with
Uriel, Michael, and Raphael. You will sense each one leaving. When you
feel ready, take a few deep breaths and count from one to five. Open your
eyes and carry on with your day. You will feel invigorated and full of
energy after this ritual.

Angel Numbers

Another common way in which the angels speak to us is by showing us

number sequences. Have you ever noticed that when you look at the
clock, a license plate, or a phone number, you see the same digits repeat-
edly? This is not a coincidence, but rather a message from above.

Since the era of Pythagoras, we‘ve known that numbers carry powerful
vibrations. Musical instruments and computers are based upon mathe-
matical formulas, and the angels‘ number messages are just as precise.
The basic meaning of the numbers you see are:

0 — You are loved by your Creator.

1 — Watch your thoughts and only think about your desires instead of
your fears, as you‘ll attract what you‘re thinking about.

2 — Keep the faith and don‘t give up hope.

3 — Jesus or other ascended masters are helping you.

4 — The angels are assisting you with this situation.

5 — A positive change is coming up for you.

6 — Release any fears about the physical/material world to God and the
angels. Balance your thoughts between the material and spiritual.

7 — You‘re on the right path . . . keep going!

8 — Abundance is coming to you now.

9 — Get to work on your life‘s purpose without delay.

When you see a combination of numbers, simply ―add‖ the meanings

above together. For instance, if you see 428, this would mean: ―The
angels are with you, so keep the faith, as abundance is coming to you
now.‖

Etheric Cord Cutting
Anyone who works with other people, either professionally or by offering
unpaid acts of kindness, should know about etheric cords and how to
handle them. Basically, whenever a person forms a fear-based attachment
to you (such as being afraid that you‘ll leave, or believing that you are his
or her source of energy or happiness), a cord is constructed between the
two of you. This tie is visible to anyone who is clairvoyant, and
palpable to anyone who is intuitive.

The cords resemble surgical tubing, and they function like gasoline hoses.
When a needy person has formed an attachment to you, that person suc-
tions energy from you through this etheric cord.

You may not see it, but you can perceive its effect—namely, feeling tired
or sad without knowing why. Well, it‘s be-
cause the person at the other end has just
drawn on your power or sent you toxic en-
ergy through the cord.

Additionally, if you‘ve got a cord to

someone who‘s angry, then that fiery energy
comes tumbling down it, straight into your
body. This results in sharp, pinching pain
without any organic cause.

So anytime you‘ve helped someone—or

whenever you feel lethargic, sad, or tired—
it‘s a good idea to ―cut your cords.‖ If
you‘ve had relationships with perpetually
angry people—or if you ever feel sharp pain—then it‘s time to employ
this technique. You aren‘t rejecting, abandoning, or ―divorcing‖ the per-
son by cutting these bonds. You‘re only severing the dysfunctional, fear-
ful, codependent area of the relationship. The loving part of it remains at-
tached.

To cut your own cords, say either mentally or aloud:

―Archangel Michael, I call upon you now. Please cut the cords of fear that
are draining my energy and vitality. Thank you.‖

Then be silent for a few moments. Be sure to inhale and exhale deeply
during the process, as breath opens the door for angels to help you. You‘ll
probably feel cords being cut or pulled out of you. You may sense
air-pressure changes or other tangible signs that the cord cutting is
occurring.

The people on the other end will think of you without knowing why at the
moment when their cords are being cut. You may even find that you get
lots of ―just thinking about you‖ phone messages and e-mails from those
you were ―attached‖ to. Don‘t buy into faulty beliefs about these people.
Remember, you are not their source of energy or happiness—God is.
The cords will grow back each time someone re-forms a fear-based
attachment to you, so keep cutting them as needed.

You can also cut other people‘s fear-based cords by calling upon
Archangel Michael to do so, or by detecting them yourself (you can see or
feel cords by scanning the person‘s body with your spiritual sight and/or
your hands).

Sometimes people may resist cutting cords to someone they resent. The
persistent anger or desire for revenge can keep a toxic relationship tied to
them. In those cases, not even Archangel Michael can cut the cords!

So you‘ll need to talk and walk your client through the individual
cord-cutting procedure. As you discern each one, your intuition will tell
you whom it is attached to. You may get a general impression (―I feel this
cord is attached to a man‖) or more details (―This cord feels like it‘s
attached to your father‖). However it comes to you is fine. Just give your
client whatever impressions you receive.

Then say to your client, ―Please take some deep breaths and be willing to
release old toxic energies related to [name or title of person to whom the
cord is attached]. Be willing to detoxify yourself so that you can enjoy
peace, health, and happiness.‖ Keep repeating this while supporting your
client‘s process of deciding to let go of old anger. Sometimes this takes a
while, but eventually everyone chooses reconciliation. Think of yourself
as a shepherd of peace, gently and patiently coaxing your client in that
direction.

Addiction Cord Cutting

This is a very effective method for reducing or eliminating cravings for

addictive substances, as well as destructive behaviors. You can use the
following for yourself or read it aloud to another person:

Begin by thinking about any addictions that you feel completely ready to
release. (This only works if you truly want to let go of them.) You can
simultaneously choose and release as many as you want.

Next, imagine that the addictive items, or a symbol of the situation, are
sitting on your lap. Notice the web of cords connecting them to your
body, especially around your belly button. These are the attachments of
fear, wherein you believe that you need these addictions.

Now call upon the archangels Michael and Raphael to dissolve these
cords and cart away your addictions to Heaven, for transmutation and
healing. Keep breathing, and hold the willingness to completely release
these dependencies. Focus upon how wonderful you feel to be free of
controlling cravings. Know how much more time, energy, money, and self
-esteem you now have as a result of making this healthful decision.

Once you have felt a big release, Archangel Raphael will send his
emerald green light through your severed cords. As you inhale deeply,
you draw this healing energy into your body. This is actually what you
have been craving, because it is God‘s love and light. That is really what
you have been desiring, and trying to attain through your previous
addictions. Drink in as much of Raphael‘s healing energy as you want, as
there is an unlimited supply for you and everyone else. Any former
emptiness or anxiety is now lifted away and you are at peace. Thank
Raphael and Michael for this healing.

Vacuuming

When we worry about someone, blame ourselves for his or her misery, or
massage someone who‘s in emotional pain, we may take on the other
person‘s negative psychic energy in a misguided form of helpfulness.
Everyone does this, especially lightworkers, who are ultra- concerned
about aiding others—often at their own expense. The angels give us
methods such as vacuuming to help us stay balanced in our service work.
They want us to help people, but not to hurt ourselves in the process. It‘s
a matter of being open to receiving support from others, including the
angels. Many lightworkers are wonderful at giving aid, but not so good at
receiving it. This is a method to help counterbalance that tendency.

To vacuum yourself with the help of the angels, mentally say, Archangel
Michael, I call upon you now to clear and vacuum the effects of fear. In
your mind, you‘ll then see or feel a large being appear—this is Archangel
Michael. He will be accompanied by smaller angels known as the ―Band
of Mercy.‖

Notice that Michael is holding a vacuum tube. Watch as he puts it in

through the top of your head (known as the ―crown chakra‖). You must
decide whether you want the vacuum speed to be on extra-high, high,
medium, or low. You‘ll also be directing him where to put the tube during
the clearing process. Mentally guide it inside your head, in your body, and
around all of your organs. Vacuum every part, all the way to the tips of
your fingers and toes.

You may see or feel clumps of psychic dirt go through the vacuum tube,
just like when you‘re cleaning a soiled carpet. Any entities that enter the
vacuum are humanely treated at the other end by the Band of Mercy, who
meets and escorts entities to the Light. Keep vacuuming until no more
psychic debris goes through the tube.

As soon as you‘re clear, Archangel Michael will reverse the switch so that
thick, toothpaste-like white light comes out of the tube. This is a form of
―caulking‖ material that will fill in the spaces that formerly held psychic
dirt.

Vacuuming is one of the most powerful techniques I‘ve ever tried.

You can also use this method on others, in person or remotely. Just hold
the intention of working on them, and it‘s done! Even if you don‘t clearly
see or feel anything during the process, or you worry, Am I just making
this up?
the results will be palpable. Most people see an immediate lifting of
depression and a cessation of anger following a vacuuming session.
You can ask for a vacuum to be permanently installed above your head, in
your home, at the office, or wherever you like. Think of it as an automatic
filter, much like people have in their swimming pools. This permanent
vacuum will ensure that you stay cleared at all times.

Lifting the Energy of Psychic Attack

Occasionally, when people are angry at themselves or someone else, they

send toxic energy that can create physical pain in their target. This is
called a ―psychic attack.‖ Sometimes these assaults happen deliberately,
and sometimes they‘re unintentional.
To lift these toxic energies from yourself or another, first call upon
Archangel Michael and Archangel Raphael. Then either lie on your
stomach or move forward in your chair so your back isn‘t touching
anything. You can read the following aloud as a guided healing meditation
for yourself or for another person‘s benefit:

As you breathe deeply, be willing to release any old anger energy from
your back, shoulders, neck, and other areas of your body. Breathe, and
feel or see the energy forms (which often look like daggers, arrows, and
other instruments of attack) lift from your body.

As these instruments easily float out of your back and body, you may get
the sense of who sent them to you. Do your best to hold compassion for
the person and resist any temptation to retaliate. Ask the angels to send
healing energies to both of you, to break the cycle of attack. Keep
breathing and lifting the old energy out of your body. You may feel
quivers and shivers as each instrument is carried away by the angels.

When your body feels calm and peaceful, you see Archangel Raphael
kneeling beside you. He is sending his emerald green healing energy
around and into your body.

 This light instantly heals any incisions where attack instruments were
formerly lodged, restoring your body to its true natural state of wholeness.
Archangel Michael seals you in his protective purple light, which also
deflects any subsequent lower energies. You are now cleared and
protected!

Healing Past-Life Vows

You may have taken vows in your past lives as a spiritual aspirant or
devotee (such as a nun or a monk). Among the most common are vows of
suffering, self-sacrifice or retribution, poverty, virginity, chastity/celibacy,
obedience, and silence. Unless these vows are severed, they can follow
you to Earth and place barriers in your love and sexual areas, finances,
and life in general.

No one is truly free until these past-life commitments are broken. The
only healthy vows are those that you decide upon—the ones you make
with yourself. Even then, you‘ll want to regularly review them to see if
they‘re still valid.

Release these vows and their effects by calling upon Archangel Raziel,
who helps us to heal the vestiges of past lifetimes. Then, on your own
behalf or to help another person, strongly affirm:

―Archangel Raziel, I ask for your help; and I hereby sever any vows of
suffering, self- sacrifice, or retribution that I may have made, in all
directions of time. I rescind any negative effects of these vows, now and
forever.‖

Then, repeat this statement for other vows (poverty, celibacy, and so on).
The angels and archangels will guide you through additional healing
methods, or adjust and supplement the ones outlined in this chapter. Trust
these intuitive messages, as Heaven teaches you to gain confidence in
your natural healing abilities.

Healing Meditation with Archangel Raphael

You can work with Archangel Raphael and his healing energy using
meditation. To prepare say a prayer to Mother/Father/God/Arch Angel
Raphael, to please help you be as open to the healing as possible and to
join in the healing work and support you through your healing process.

Sit comfortably where you will not be disturbed. Begin by grounding and
centering yourself. Close your eyes and imagining roots growing from
your feet into Mother Earth. Then follow this simple breathing exercise to
relax your physical body: breathe in through your nose, hold it for 7 sec-
onds, and release it very slowly through your mouth. Repeat 3 times then
unconsciously continue breathing this way throughout the meditation.

Tell your Ego-self to move toward your left shoulder. Let the Ego-self
know that it‗s only an observer during the healing and know this is so.
Ask God/dess to send down a beam of protective white light. God/dess
hears your request and in your mind‗s eye you immediately envision a
beam of light coming down from the universe. Watch it surround you in a
protective glow.

Call Archangel Raphael, either mentally or out loud and ask. "Archangel
Raphael please come to me now and assist me in my healing." If you like,
also invite in your Higher Self and your own Spirit Guides and Guardian
Angels. You don‗t need to know their names, just say "Spirit Guides and
Guardian Angels, please join Archangel Raphael in my healing session."

In your mind‗s eye, picture Raphael standing over you with his hands
outstretched over your head. See the healing energy in the form of green
light flowing from his hands down into your body through your crown
chakra (the top of your head). Try to relax and feel the energy. You may
not be able to feel the energy at first, but after doing this a few times (if
needed); you will probably begin to become more sensitive to the energy.

Most people feel the healing energy as warmth or tingling. Others feel a
soft and loving stream running through their body. Whatever you feel is
right for you. The first time, let this energy flow through you for a while,
opening you to Archangel Raphael‗s curative energy and preparing you
on all levels to accept the healing. This initial step can last for several

minutes or until you feel that it is time to move on to the next step.

Now change the focus onto specific parts of your body. Picture Raphael's
hands over these areas and feel and see the green light flowing through
his hands to your injury or area of illness. When you are through, thank
Archangel Raphael, and ask him to protect you from negative thoughts
and feelings that manifest into health problems. Also thank your Spirit
Guides and Angels for assisting in the healing.

Focus on grounding and centering yourself. Again, picture the roots from
your feet into Mother Earth. Now open your eyes. It does not matter if
you are good at visualization, or whether or not you can physically feel
the healing energy from Archangel Raphael and your intentions are what
you are healed by.

This method works with injuries and illnesses equally well. You may re-
peat this work several times a day if necessary, or whenever you feel you
need it. Once you are used to healing work with Archangel Raphael, your
Spirit Guides and Angels, you can ask them for quick relief and healing.
This is especially helpful for chronic conditions they regularly work with
you on such as pain relief.

Please remember to thank Archangel Raphael, your Guides and Angels

for their help. It‗s not necessary but they really appreciate the acknowl-
edgment that you know they are their working with you. You can also
take the time and opportunity to talk with them, either telepathically in
your mind or softly out loud. They do hear what you say and acknowl-
edge in ways that they can, even if you can't hear their responses back to
you in words.

Healing Others with Archangel Raphael’s Energy

You can also work with Archangel Raphael to heal others. We are all
beings of light and anyone can work with the healing energy and assist in
another person's healing. You do not need any special training to do this
type of healing work. You just act as a channel for the healing energy. All
that is needed is your intention to help the other person in their highest
good. Archangel Raphael, your Higher Self and Spirit Guides, and the
Higher Self and Spirit Guides of the person you are doing the healing
work with are directing the healing being done. Your main job is support
for the person, or "receiver," and to facilitate the healing work.

Make the person you are going to work on comfortable by having them
sit in a chair or lay down. Together, ask your ego-selves to move toward
your left shoulders. Let the ego-selves know they are only observers
during the healing and know this is so. Ask your Angels, Guides and the
receiver‗s Angels and Guides to accompany you on this quest to heal now.
Ask God/dess to send down a beam of protective white light. God/dess
hears your request and in your mind‗s eye you can immediately envision
a beam of light coming down from the universe. Watch it surround you
and the re-ceiver in a protective glow.

Both of you say, out loud, "Archangel Raphael please come to us now
and assist in the healing in [Healer's highest good and that [Receiver]
accepts the healing in their own highest good.

Of course, all of this can be done silently. The person being healed doesn't
have to participate in the prayers and invitation. But it is helpful if they do
take an active role in the healing.

Place your hands on or above the person's head. Picture Archangel

Raphael standing behind you and working through you. Try to envision or
feel the healing green light energy flowing from Archangel Raphael into
your hands and then into the crown chakra of the receiver. Your hands
may become warm from the energy.

After several minutes of this, move on to specific areas of the body where
it is needed the most. Trust your own feelings and guidance on the length
of time to spend on each area and where to place your hands.

You could be guided to work on areas that have nothing to do with the
areas of the symptoms, disease or injury. This could be underlying causes
or just a separate need for healing in that area of the body. Just follow
your intuition.

When you are through, don‗t forget to thank Archangel Raphael and the

Working with Archangel Raphael and his healing energy is very easy. The
healing is done by your intention and willingness to work with the Beings
of Light ministering to you and the people that you are working with.

To begin an Archangel Michael meditation, sit

quietly in a cross-legged position or in a chair if that
is more comfortable, place your hands palms up on
your knees, and close your eyes.
Begin to breathe deeply, from the belly. Breathe in
slowly, through the nose, to the count of five if
possible, then breathe out even more slowly, through
the nostrils, to the count of ten if possible. Continue
to breathe in this manner. If you inhale to the count
of two, then exhale to a four count, and so forth.
Repeat this for a minute or two until you feel
yourself shifting into a space of peace, quiet and
meditation.

Say this – ―I call upon Archangel Michael, As you do this, visualize

Archangel Michael, a giant being of Light armed with an electric-blue
sword of cleansing fire.

blazing blue light into all your chakras, filling your body from toe to
crown with sparkling, brilliant light. This is very important.

Never remove hooks and cords without replacing the lost energy with
clean, fresh energy from the Source of Spirit.

Say, ― ―Thank you‖ to Archangel Michael for his help. Ask that Michael
enfold you in an egg of electric blue energy, which will be your shield
against all unwanted energies, and which you can call upon and reinforce
at any time.

Angelic Symbol Healing

Understanding the symbol:

Understanding the significance of the different lines in the symbol will

help you to get a sense of the energetic qualities and movements in it.
Although this is not necessary for channeling the symbol, the deeper you
experience the sense of the symbol the more deeply you will be connected
to it and be able to channel it.

The swirl in the center can be thought of as the heart space where the
divine enters into the angel, becoming angelic heart, spiraling in from the
infinite into form. The movement within the spiral, therefore, is from the
top to the right, spiraling in. The 3 squiggly lines above the spiral is the
inner movement of the angel as it constantly surrenders and lets go into
God. So, with the swirl and the 3 squiggly lines, you have the divine
coming in, becoming angelic heart, moving back into God. The point
below the spiral is where the angel focuses itself in creation. The lower
curve is where a boundary is created for the angel to define itself. If you
look at the symbol and try to follow these energetic movements, you will
get a very direct sense of the energy, consciousness and power in the
symbol.

Directions for using the symbol:

There are 2 ways to use this symbol: for self-healing and for healing
others. The directions are different for each. I suggest you practice the
self-healing first, as it is easier and will get you more familiar with the
symbol, getting your ready to do the more complex visualization involved
for using it to heal others.

For Self Healing:

(1) Memorize the symbol.

(2)Visualize it in the center of your heart, in the center of your chest (not
to the left of center, which is associated with the physical heart). In
your visualization, as you actually see it in your mind, see that the
center swirl in the symbol circles from the top of the swirl clockwise,
just as you see it here. Do not be concerned about whether you are
looking at it from the inside or outside, which would flip the direction
of the swirl. It can ‗lay‘ on our body either way, facing in or out, so
long as what you see in your mind looks the same as it looks here.

(3)Sense or feel for the quality of angelic heart, or angel-ness, in the

symbol.

(4)While staying present with this sense of angelic heart, and while
maintaining the visualization of the symbol in your heart, sense/feel/
imagine/visualize/intend the angelic energy move from and through the
symbol, going everywhere in your system, including your physical
body and all your other aspects of being, or direct it to a particular area
in need.

(5) In general, do this for up to an hour at a time, and not more than
twice a day. But if you do this often, your system will become more
fluid and able to handle and process a lot more of this kind of energy at
one time. (Note: you do not need to ‗draw‘ the symbol, as done in
Reiki.)

For Healing Others:

The directions are similar to those above for self-healing, except now:

(1) The symbol will be visualized on the third eye, on the palm of each
hand, and on the navel (belly button). The symbol needs to be
visualized in all 4 places simultaneously, which may take some
practice, but after a little practice, it will become easy. As with
self-healing, the key thing is not whether the symbol is facing in or out,
but that you see it your mind the same as pictured here.

(2) Sense or feel for the quality of angelic heart or angel-ness in all 4
symbols simultaneously.

(3) While staying present with this sense of angelic heart, and while
maintaining the visualization of the symbol in your third eye, palms
and navel, sense/feel/imagine/visualize the angelic energy move from
the symbols in your third eye and navel into the symbols in your
palms, reinforcing the density of angelic heart there.

(4) Sense/feel/imagine/visualize/intend that reinforced angelic heart

energy in your palms flowing out of your palms into the receiver (the
other person to whom you are giving healing). As you do this, continue
to stay present with the sense of the symbols in the third eye and navel
feeding the ones in the palms. After a little practice this will all become
one integrated sense and visualization that you will be able to maintain
with just a little bit of concentration and intention—like riding
a bicycle.

(5) In general, do not channel for more than an hour for a particular
person, and not more than twice a day.

Note: It may seem odd at first, after doing self-healing, that for healing
others you do not visualize the symbol in your heart. The reason for this is
that now, you are trying to get the healing energy to flow out of you, and
visualizing the symbol in the heart will keep more of the energy inside,
with yourself. The navel, on the other hand, facilitates expressing the
energy outwards. Once you have spent at least 25 hours doing healing on
others, though, the energetic sense of the way this energy wants to flow

out will be conditioned enough in your system so that you can then add
the symbol to your heart, if you prefer, without losing outward
expression. (You would still visualize it in the other 4 places as well.)

Distance Healing on Others:

Many people will be able to ‗bridge‘ this angel energy to someone at a

distance, and yet most people will have difficulty doing so. It requires
some ability to sense the other person at a distance and to bridge the
healing energy to what is being sensed. It is not enough to just intend that
it go there. And it will not work to channel it to a photo. As you use this
angel symbol for healing yourself and others, your consciousness will
become more familiar with its form and energy, and your channeling of it
will become stronger.
